I grew up next up to the tracks and I find the sound of a train rather relaxing. There is something to be said of a train passing by your house, the rhythmic sounds of the wheels rolling over the track, the loudness of the horn, the smell of the engine.

How boring was that - a slow train hitting a little bit of snow paied there for the purpose of the shot. There are vids on here of very fast trains in America hitting mega snowdrits.

Awesome catch! :) It's not everyday you get to see a Locomotive hit a good sized snow drift, No wonder they have plows on the front of the Engines. I don't get CP Rail where I live, Only CN Rail so I like seeing your videos since they have nice looking CP Rail Diesels in them. Good Stuff!

Why not zoom in on that "drift"?

Why not show the wheel flanges close-up cutting through the snow.

Always the same boring stuff.

Theres actually a dip in the grade, whether or not it was necessary to use them you can still hear them.
