not to be rude but the mushnik was pretty bad. weak singing and not the right acting for the part. (excepthe that one note in the middle, that was ok) that was also the most pathetic shimmying i've ever seen! go see Fiddler On the Roof for lessons come on!

My school just did it's own version of LSOH, and I must say, our Mushnik was far better than that one =/

I'm playing Mushnik at my school for our Mainstage musical (meaning it is going up to being performed at our state level) and I wust say, that was really... bad. The singing wasn't right. The dancing was weird. The acting was overdone. Remember, this musical, though a comedy and though some character do act out of the ordinary (as you can do with customers (See what Guest did to the movie version)), your leads must keep this as if their characters are serious about all of this. Don't overdue it.

Just because the script seems like it calls for overacting doesn't mean you should :P.I do like this though! Just wish you could've had better choreography. Can't talk though, because my choreo was worse!

Wow. This is absolutely terrible. For the mere facts that, Mushnik has siezures throughout the entire number, for some reason everything must be screamed, you're dancing together like a married couple, seymour forgot his retards helmet at home, and the blocking is garbage. Hint: Next time try to curb the spasms which were clearly occuring through the entire number. Besides that, it wasn't too bad. :)

Twas' okay. What happens alot in High School productions is that the actors are better than what the director can stage...lol.

I think if this was better staged, and you guys had a better choreographer it would've been interesting.

lot of people forget that you're supposed to be making it seem like real life, even if it is a surreal thing like Little Shop :P! You have to give yourself a purpose for the dancing. In this particular number, Mushnik is trying to catch seymour's attention and Seymour's just supposed to be confused as to why this old man is giving his all to have him as his son when he hated him before.

Also, vocally, it could have been switched around considering your Mushnik sounds like a tenor. I could be wrong though :). Plus, its not always the voice that counts the acting does too!

I love Little Shop its one of my favorite shows, I did it as Mushnik, and would do it again at the drop of a hat! Just another fun fact about the show...as cooky as each of the characters are, if you really think about it Audrey is the only genuinely good character. Each of the characters are very...'type' characters, but should never been done like that if you know what I mean.

AND absolutely true. This number isn't bad, but there have CERTAINLY been better ones. And furthermore... I don't like tacos, I prefer doucheburritos.

Just thought i would tell you that they are singing and dancing, and if you really knew what blocking was, then you would know that its not blocking when they are singing or dancing.....and plus it wouldn't be their fault...it would be the choreographer...hmm.... stuff to think about...
