I am Canadian and its sooo nice not having to worry about goin to see the doctor or having surgery and then worrying about medical bills.. Of course we have to pay for medicine and ambulance rides and stuff like that but what about the people who can't afford to go see a doc then die on the street because health care is too expensive... I had surgery a few months ago and im so glad i didnt live in the states cuz i dont have money to pay for insurance so they would have pushed me aside to die

Obama's plan SUCKS and all of the poles indicate that the majority of Americans want it to be dismantled before it goes into effect in 2014. I had health insurance up till being 21, now I'm 22 and can't get medication for my migraines, and whenever i get a cold that goes into like bronchitis i have to fork over $100 to a doc just to be told, yup, you have bronchitis, just to get the antibiotics Rx. That makes me so angry! So I agree with you, if you have an audience, & an opinion, spread it. I truly doubt they prefer no insurance.

@PRCkevlar That's not true. I'm Canadian, and all of us get health care free (well, we pay in our taxes), but no matter your age or sickness level or chance of dieing.
It's life insurance where you may not get coverage if you are at a high risk of dieing.. like if you smoke or have brain cancer or are 115 years old. But life insurance is private, it has nothing to do with public health care.

Obama's plan SUCKS and all of the poles indicate that the majority of Americans want it to be dismantled before it goes into effect in 2014. I'm not saying that the current system doesn't need fixes but if you happen to have a big screen tv and pay a cable bill every month and go out to eat twice a week then you CHOOSE not to have health insurance. Most people who don't already have it don't get it because they don't think anything will happen to them.
