@OmeoRalfa I disagree. I think the whole point here was to showcase the drummer's ability. Plus, Stewart Copeland didn't exactly take the minimalist approach when he recorded the studio drums for this. If you want to hear less is more, listen to the Police/Stewart Copeland version. It's a cover. The original idea is there, but where's the fun in playing the exact same thing? I'd rather see someone showcasing a combination of skill, memory, AND creativity than just two out of three.

Best freakin cover of this masterpiece I have ever seen. The vocals are amazing too. I swear it sounds like Sting when he got a little older and his voice changed only slightly. Beautiful cover mate. You cant compare a metal drummer to a groovin' drummer (If that makes sense). Its different, both styles are kick-ass but you cant say one is better unless they play the same style but even then its music not a sport there's no stats In context to music. But solo wise you can say who is more diverse and that doesn't determine skill just exposure to different styles.
