@matiemanre4 Not even close...Dust is an MMO FPS, its gonna have up to 64 players, vehicles, lots of objectives. Basically its a Sci-Fi Battlefield game, but with a lot more. Its also connected to the PC MMO EVE. If you like FPS games, especially things like Battlefield and MAG, I would really recommend taking a look at Dust.

@Zoran54321 It was a very concious decision to make it a console game. PC gamers control the ships in EVE, while console gamers control the soldiers in Dust. It's a genius way to increase the community greatly.

The idea behind it was to tackle two different demographics, EVE plays similar to a strategy in ways. It's slow paced, complex, very much so a PC game. Dust on the other hand caters to the more relaxed, quicker, more gameplay, less thinking style of consoles.

I am let down because this game looks more like Halo than MAG, this was supposed to be the game the MAG players where to go to once MAG dies, but right now its not looking like MAG :(

@newstone96 Why would anyone want a MAG clone let DUST be DUST. I damn sure don't want to play MAG in the future. Then all we would have is 2 APC's per map, radom bullet spread, and SVER. So no thanks I'm hope it stays far away from MAG so the blue dots don't come to it. As it is DUST is set to be way more competitive than MAG ever was.

Or I have to back up sprint to vault a waist high wall. MAG was much more fluid, less laggy, The only thing BF3 has over MAG was recoil in the guns.

@Zoran54321 Yes jumping does equal fluid animation If my guy can't or wont jump due to a faulty vault system that makes gameplay not fluid IMO. MAG's animations were not choppy you obviously just don't like the game or didn't play it long enough. MAG was the most fluid FPS I've played in years hands down everything was smooth guns needed a little recoil though.

@Bigalinbklyn83 Maybe not so much more in terms of player count. Dust as you can see has much better Graphics than MAG, also A LOT more vehicles. All this uses lots of Bandwidth, and memory. I'm honestly totally fine with Dust being 32vs32, and if you actually look at MAG in Domination say, its basically four 32v32 teams fighting kind of separately. I don't think I've left my platoon assets once, and went to help another.

@Soap706 You're DEFINITELY wrong...Dust-514 is nothing like Halo, Halo is a Run-n-Gun game, with no teamwork requirement or anything. Dust is an MMO in the first place, its a heavy vehicle game, requires teamwork, tactics, lots of objectives, its connected to EVE online, and the 2 play in real time, you don't just play pre-set game types, etc. You play to seize control of planets. And the list goes on, and on. Anyone who sees a Sci-fi weapon they say its Halo. And if its modern its CoD.

I wonder why series have gone slow this generation. Back in PS2 days we got 3 GTA games, 2 Gran Turismo games, 2 Twisted Metal games (not to mention like 4 on PS1), TONS of fighting games, 3 Devil May Cry games, 4 Final Fantasy games and much more! And on PS3 we got 1 Gran Turismo game, 1 GTA game, 1 Devil May Cry game, 2 FF games and much less in every other series you can think of. Why? PS2 was the good old days. PS3's start was shit in terms of games and it's only gone slow .. :/

I mean even with 1 studio they made a game every 2 years. They could have done it with GTA like they did with GTA III, Vice City and SA. And the limit of Xbox 360 disc just made GTA IV worst and Rockstar admited it. Anyways doesn't seem it should take 4 years for a sequel in certain series
