I find it strange that those who don't believe in a god or gods are somehow considered less moral in some ways simply because of what they believe (or in this case, don't believe). It also confuses me that Christians would want to involve their god in any government, as Jesus himself shows absolute disgust towards all forms of government in the Bible. In fact, Satan himself is said to have ownership of all governments in the book.
@gwangjuboy1 You atheists are no different from any human being and their beliefs. You have stong beliefs in your ideas despite the vast knowledge of the universe yet unknown, so you don't like people of religion. Muslims don't like atheists and other religions. Christians have the same viewpoint as well. Stalin hated people of faith and killed millions in the process. I have to admire you though, you have b***s to not believe in God. But other than that, you're no different.
@TruthAddict3000 I might be tempted to refer to 'God' as a metaphor for that which science cannot yet explain. Reagan of course wasn't even doing that, but he actually believed in the 'word' of God. I also don't militantly oppose benign forms of religious beliefs - those which make no attempt to regulate the behaviour of others - but in Reagan's case he was making political capital out of 'God' at every turn, which in itself at least constitutes a borderline case of malignant belief.
@gwangjuboy1 listen to his words. he says if we are no longer one nation under God we wont endure. Well look at where our country is today? our country continues to push away from God, people are trying to take out "one Nation under God" from the pledge, and "in God we trust" from our currency. and we have never been in this bad of shape as a country. as much as you dont want to believe it, God is the Answer, and we will Fall if we continue to push him away.
