TKO no longer runs a Call of Duty Server. However there are still loads of servers that play it.

Also info for the server and the clan are at the end of the video in the credits.

3rd person mode is only available after olaying the game. I have a program called COD4 viewer. You record he game using console commands, then start up COD4 Viewer. it plays back the raw info from the game. Alowing 3rd person, rotating angles etc etc. I then used fraps to record what I was watching in the COD4 Viewr program. Kind of a lot of work, but worth it for a watchable vid. I doubt you can do this with PS3.

The maps are available or downloading (with a fee) from Sony Online for the PS3.

I dunno if you can go back to ver 1.0 after the newest versions have been installed.

This may work though. Install two copies of COD on your computer. patch one version so you can play the maps... and leave the other version un-patched.

It really plays well though. There are three major conflict areas in that map. Sniper fest for about 70% of the map, 15% played in the tunnel (my favorite) and another 15% played up at the main house.

how did you get your view like that ?

The third person view comes from using a program that allows me to access the in game recordings using the console commands. It has all the information and allows me to pull out to 3rd person view.

First I need to record the round in game using [/record (title) in console]

Afterwards, I use COD4 Player. Thats the name of the program that allows me to do 3rd person. While it is playing what I recorded in game, I use FRAPS to record so I have a file that will work with Windows Movie Maker.

If you want the patch, the most recent is 1.6 you can go to tko. clanservers. com on the main page is a link for the download. Just instal that patch and your good. All previous patches are included in that one. Just follow the instructions for install, then your set.

Yes, that's true. PC players of Call of Duty 4got these maps for free with last patch courtesy of NVIDIA.

What did you have to pay for the map pack on your PS3? And how was it done? A download from a server or another disk? The last console game I really really played on was my N64. And I still play PerfectDark daily.

Thats a big NEGATIVE my friend. I updated to 1.6 from 1.5 and had not downloaded the patch for our server yet. I couldnt log into our own server till I patched it.

the patch notes say that 1.6 includes everything up to ver 1.5 So I think if you just find 1.6, (filefront) whatever version you are running now will be updated.

I have a program that will use the recording you can make in game using the COD4 recorder. (/record(title) in console) It records everything that happens that round.

Then afterwards I open my COD Demo player, it opens a copy of COD4 ModWarfare and plays the whole lvl I just recorded. It has all the game info so I can select third person, I can remove the HUD, I can change camera angles, camera distances, control the speed to slow it down or speed it up, and pause. Then I use FRAPS to record it.
