Aww bless he's cute. He looked so much bigger than Kay did! Kay was 2lb 3.5oz and v skinny. Hes now 12 and gorge as I said on one of my vids. Kaiden makes the same noise as Alice, tho I try and make her stop!!! lol

Kaiden was quite long, so the length would fool you. Also he doesnt look "skinny" because he was retaining fluid from the drugs they were pumping into him to keep him alive- it got so bad he could barely open his eyes :(

Poor lil love. Hes done well! Kay was just sooo skinny and had transparent skin. Its so hard watching them when they are like that and not being able to do anything.

The noise is the screamy screech when u tickle him. Alice does it, and George joins in. I like them to have fun and stuff but I swear one day they'll cause the celing to cave in!!!

I know- we were told not to touch him too much too which hurts :(

LOL yeah, the high pitched squeal can really irk me at times... But this was all in fun and we were mucking around :) But if he does it out of nowhere just for no reason he will get told off- it can be painful that squeal!!! Plus i HATE to hear kids doing it in shopping centres so i know it would piss people off when he does it (he rarely if ever does anyway).

It is crazy .. I had a 33 wk and 6 day preemie . I remember all this and now she is 10 .. Time flies . .

Do you know what caused her to come early?

Oh yes I had toxemia and was hospitalized at 21 wks and they induced me at 33 wks 6 days or 34 wks .. She was actually very healthy . I had 4 rounds of steriods while I was still pregnant because the Drs knew she was never gonna make it to fullterm.

Thats so great that she was healthy- makes it so much easier...

But these prems are very strong!

Yes they are she has only been on antibiotics 4 x in her life . my 39 wk 8lb 13oz child has been sick way more than my 1st child who was a prem ever was .. Go figure .. her Drs are just amazed how well she did and is doing .. Looks like Kaiden is doing wonderful .. Yay for stong Prems.. did you receive steriods with Kaiden ? did you know he was going to be premature ? What caused it to happen?

Even though Kaiden was born so sick and with virtually no immune system, hes barely ever been sick- the odd cold here and there but nothing else. Hes never even had an ear infection!!!

No steriods, not sure why but the ultrasound they did showed he was doing practise breathing movements so that may be why?

No, we had no idea he was going to be prem or that he was dying inside me.

I did videos on what happened hun- ive got delivery and Cytomegalovirus (CMV) videos which explain it all...

Its so amazing how far he has came!! How long have you been teaching him signs? Hes so smart :)

I KNOW! Its amazing (and even amazes his DOCTORS!!!), that he started out being not expected to live and now look at him!!!

Ahhh, only been doing signs for MAYBE a month- not very long at all. The VERY FIRST time i signed bath to him he did it right back :) He is a very smart little boy :) Hes always picked things up really quick.
