  • NEVER take the weight guard off before doing calf presses. NEVER DO THAT! One slip up on that weight or the shoes could come off and that 1000 lbs comes crashing down on your chest and midsection and that could be fatal! Leave it guarded the weight isn't going much distance doing calf work!

  • do you take any stimulants, tuan? i've taken white flood and the stuff is amazing cause it gives you energy for hours and a slight euphoric state afterwards. very relaxing and focused.... it would be great for studying... sorta like a mild adderall although i've never tried adderall i heard its like that

    I don't know why your post gets voted down. To my experience, asians -ON AVERAGE- indeed have bigger calves than most other races. This has got NOTHING to do with racism, it's just a fact, people are different.

    I'm sure you can train calves to grow somewhat, but a large factor in the stubborn calf size still remains: genes. Some people always have had big calves, even when they hardly use em. Jay Cutler and Branch Warren are good examples. Gotta hit em hard!

  • @flurries1465 ... that attitude kind of sounds like envy and an excuse for failure dude... very few people gives their calves much attention (though I admit genetics plays a huge role).

  • good to see that people do care about calves haha, im on my schools powerlifting team and everyone jokes about me doing calves, but I just try to stay well rounded and train everything. I got the heart shape as you do but im having trouble putting mass on my calves which is odd seeing as im like 210 :P
