The Tablet PC, which was introduced by microsoft back in 2001, erased text just like that using wacom Pen. The Modbook is cool but no it does not kick ass, it's copying/using very very old concept and technology. Nothing new! sorrry.

lol. the current macs are fine if you do photos, music, 3d max, etc. What I did was I got a box from mac pro from a friend and build my desktop with it. Put two different HD's: one with Winblows and the other with OSX. All I ever bought from apple was my Apple Cinema screen. My mcbook pro was a gift from some rich relative on my dads side who everyone doesn't like. lol.

It indeed is awesome. But I'm still holding out for an official MacBook Tablet with a swivel screen (instead of a product that is always in tablet form) and it has to have Leopard. Yep.....Apple will surely create it. They will see the market share of tablets and probably create one. (If they're not already creating one....)

Honestly, I wouldn't go for a swivel screen . . . too many moving parts. As a philosophy, Apple embraces simplicity and tries to minimize as many moving parts as possible.

What WOULD be cool though is if the tablet were a high quality glass. You could purchase "electronic paper" that would cover the screen and simulate the feel of real paper while minimizing the damage that a tablet would inevitably incur.

Btw, a sheet of "electronic paper" paper would cost $20 and would last for 3 months.
