3:32) Just a little aside. When I was around 14-ish, I decided for some extra gelt I would help the farmer next door to pick potatoes. Had to be there at some ridiculous time in the morning. They were all pretty fast at picking but I thought that I could keep up especially with one woman that was with out a joke, 80-ish years old. She past me by 1 row, then 2, then 3. At the end of the day when it was getting dark, they almost had to carry me off the field. Bloody hard work that! :o)o:

you can do it mechanically by dragging a metal net through the field then pick them up off the ground.  Don't know why that wouldn't have been done in the war.
