  • Where did you get amp kit?

  • this helps me a lot i put my speakers in my saddle bags and conceiled my wires as you did i like that you put the amp in the tool compartment i never thought about that i ahve a windshied so my sound wont be distored too much by the wind in my ears i will try the earplugs as soon as it time to ride again real soon i hope thanks

  • This and all of the videos on speakers installation are a load of crap. Why do I need for you guys to tell me about your speakers in a garage or while sitting still. Also, can any of you ACTUALLY show how you installed the darn thing. What a bunch of idiots.

  • @hanglider00 I may be an idiot but you are rude. How hard do you suppose it is to film while riding? I'm not risking my life. Installation is super easy if you have half a brain.

  • You look like Jezuz. Lol.

  • hey great video and amazing ride i really like it, i was wondering were can i get the speaker set up you have. i really like it and it looks great. If you could help me with that info , thank you. keep on riding!!!

  • good vid

  • just ordered one yesterday. should be here thursday, cant wait. thanks for the info

  • Good video, I listen to my blackberry on pandora and the mp3s on that. I would love to have something like this and not have to mess with the headphones. I see this was in 2007. How is this jvc holding up? Other kits i was looking at were 400

  • @californiaisgarbage sounds like new and looks new also. I bought a new bike and changed to a smaller mp3 player with much more storage. its even nicer setup now.

  • where did u get that sound system...

  • @police1550

    motorcycletunes . com

  • where did u get that sound system...

  • can u hear it with a full face helmet? or an open face that cover ur ears

  • @MaxZacStafford

    both

  • What system is this? i was leaning towards the kuryakin 3in speakers but youve cought my attention. As a Christian it is refreshing to see other Christians on youtube giving advice. whats your opinion between the two. I have a v star 950 tourer.

  • Will it fit on my 2003 Road Star Silverado? Where do I buy one?

  • lol feels like he is super defensive about his stereo

    85-90..... death wish

  • What is the bass like on those speakers?

  • nice sound and look what was the model #

  • nice look what was the model #

  • nice look what was the model #

  • i have 2 4" speakers and a pioneer 50x4casette deck in my scooter. total cost:$21

  • Nice video, but you can easily do your own system for under $50. I did it with a $10 Chinese 180Wx2 amplifier on Ebay, two stock car speakers and some easy wiring to the battery with a $1 toggle switch. Works great.

  • its wat i do mp3/4 n play it threw amp lol speaker lmao

  • i need that, asome :P

  • man this is very good solution, i'm talking from brazil..I have a XVS 650 drag star, it is possible make this in my motorcycle???

  • these speakers are bull i order some after watching this video and u can not hear them at high speed with loud pipes and they dont really sound real clear either at high vol so just be carefull if u order them

  • @leecatdaddy your nuts. the speakers sound great.

  • @jezuzfreek777 if u got a real quite bike on my bike after 30-40 miles u cant hear anything

  • yep loud enough for the car that was on the side of me to roll up the windows

guess they didn't like southern rock

    TOO BAD SORRRY

  • thank you man

  • I just installed this on my bike after seeing this video. I got the 500 watt unit. Sounds great!!! Had to shave the sides of the amp to get it to fit the tool case. Easy to run wires. Easy to mount speakers. LOVE IT!!!

  • how long did it take them to ship it to u i just ordered one today and how does it really sound at highway speeds thanks

  • water proof speakers so it might rain when you ride

  • Hello brutha, thanks for the idea, I just bought the V Star 1100 (LOVE IT!!!) and immediately looked to the web for sound ideas, and found your vid. I went to the website of the system and saw the 500 watt unit, and it looks very promising. I may just have to do this. ONE QUESTION: If I tilt the speakers in a bit, (from what you did) will my windscreen still fit?....Looks close and doable, I just wanna be sure.

Be well and blessings to ya,

    -R-

  • Nice setup. I am a V-Star 1100 owner as well. You mentioned exhaust. If you have an aftermarket exhaust w/o cats I'd clean up that engine by taking the AIS piping off. I just did mine yesterday.... a little bit of a pain, but doable. The extra space loosing the AIS would allow you put your toolkit back on your ride. Just a suggestion. Good vid!

  • I like it. Thanks for the video

    Ferd

  • was it hard to connect to the taillight wires?

  • Nope just found a the wire that feeds the tail light.

its stays on all the time the key is on.

  • GOD SQUAD on bikes!! ARGH stupid people!

  • I noticed you had JVC's on there. I went to motorcycle tunes and I cant find the JVC's. Also, why didn't you go for the amplified speakers instead of the unamplified ones?

  • What cind of system is it?

  • where can i get this or a similar stero system???

  • Where did you get the set for the kit; not the mp3 player?

  • what is the name of the radio kit and where did you get it. Thank you for the video.

  • thats nice bike

  • Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for a music solution for a while, and none have been very satisfactory. I use earplugs too, so that's really helps when you mentioned that you could hear the music even with the earplugs on. Thanks again.

  • Get a subwoofer and put it in the trunk/tailbag - then you become an audiophile.

  • i thort u was a Spice Girls fan? Now your just oing to use that to play your N Sync album. Silly x

  • sick bike i want speekers like dat when i get a bike and good price too!

  • nice like it :) good tips for when i get my bike i need music when i travel :) thanks for this

  • ok, i wanted to chime in my two biking cents. i have been riding bikes for 35 years and never wanted a "radio" or windshield wipers or heated seats. you may as well be in a car with all that. biking requires all your attention.

that said, here's a biker joke for you.

why don't goldwing riders ever wave in passing?

they can't find the button that does it!

keep the greasy side down preacherman.

  • Once again, nice bike. And it does not matter what music ya into, its more like do you follow and worship that band like many people do. They rather think that a guy that plays a mean guitar solo is god. Wait. Im going off on some other stuff Any way. Nice bike, and God bless brother.

  • HAPPY JESUS DAY!!!!

  • Surprised you listen to music like that =P

  • Pod is a chistian group that plays christian/secular music

  • Oh...awesome

  • christian rock and secular? oh is that like christian porn?

  • No it means they are christians in a band that play clean decent music on the secular airwaves. the are not as aggressive in promoting God as stryper was but at least the sing about God and such.

  • "atleast they sing about God and such"? lol

  • It's time for me to step in and clarify. What he meant was that P.O.D. is a band of Christians that record and play music that get mainstream radio airplay. Their target audience are non-Christians, but they still hold strong to their Christian beliefs as well.

  • ugh - that's what you said abiut those brazen hussy sPICE gIRLS!

  • POD is actually rooted in Rastafarianism. I used to listen to them but once I looked deeper into their music I realized where their inspiration comes from.

  • mommy wont let me get one. maybe when i grow up

  • I can't wait to get my first bike.

  • are you going to sturgis?

  • no its too long of a ride and its really not a place a christian would enjoy.
