  • Thank you! Great video, by the way!

  • Does this camcorder have a view finder?

  • Wow, you cant say macro shots suck on this thing. It made me almost reach and touch the turtles bumpy skin. Im on the fence about this cam. Canon has never dissapointed me in photcameras, and im wondering if this will be just as good an experience. I need a cam to properly track a flying model airplane, and focus can be a real.. bi**.. Hows this one handle small moving objects infront of far away backgrounds like clouds and such?

  • @SvenOkonomi i can't be of much help there mate-i mainly bought it to film my daughter. While she is indeed a "small moving object" so to speak, i suspect that is not really what you are after! :) i did however film a plane flying overhead just once on the first day i bought it, but i wasnt using a tripod and therefore the focus did not track that well. I imagine if u steadied the shot up on a tripod it wldnt be a problem-ur best bet is to test one out in a shop b4 u buy i think

  • oh i am going to get on of this camera, this is so great!

  • At 1:25 I was all like, "Noooo, what happened to the turtle!?!?" lol

Nice Video BTW. What song did you use?

  • @ShastaWinters: Thanks. The song came with the video camera and is called Humoresque

  • Sucha great quality!

  • What the fuck was that thing at 1:00 !?!

  • @EffectFreak4 lol, that was a squashed snail

  • @kymbo72 Omg i thought it was the turtle.. :b

  • excuse me but........that was fuckin beautiful. I'm still saving to buy one of these

  • I have this camera and premier pro cs4 and its just not working smoothly. I cant figure it out, its so jittery and horrible, even thought I'm using an 8 core mac pro. Please help if you can, your footage is sensational!

  • also, check out the mmc steadycam, its amazing! check vimeo for good footage of it in use with this camera

  • wow that is pretty impressive i agree! wish i had one, seems expensive though for the ones i saw....over $1000 (australian dollars)

  • hmmm.....hopefully u have enough RAM.....i have 4GB which is enough for general editing in PP i think.......are u selecting the correct settings when starting up the new project in PP? Not sure if that makes a difference or not, but i use AVCHD, 1080i, then AVCHD 1080i25 (50i) (NON anamorphic). Otherwise i can't think of anything else off the top of my head that is causing ur problems.........hope u get it sorted!

  • Just loving the squished snail ! good video

  • A truly superb video. I have the same camera but cannot get this sort of quality. I edit in APremPro CS4. Do you think you could PM me as I have a few questions I'd like to ask you to establish what I might be doing wrong. Thanks.

  • 1000 view

  • Wow! Well done.

  • I have a canon hf s10 and I have a question.

How do I save my video files to my computer with as high quality as possible? I use ImageMixer 3 but when I export my clips, the quality gets worse..:(

How do I get the full HD quality to my computer so that I can edit them in sony vegas for example?

    Please answer, thank you

  • if ur recording in full quality, then the files will be saved on ur computer at the highest quality. Image Mixer does not degrade the quality, it just plays back the files as they were saved. The quality does not look as good on a computer monitor anyway......to get the full benefit u must play back the files on a HD tv either by playing them directly from the camcorder plugged into the tv, or if u wanna edit them first then after editing you must create a bluray dvd to playback on the hd tv

  • okey, thank you:)

  • Yeah there should be no change in quality at all when you transfer them to your computer. You probably need a better graphics card and more memory for your computer. My videos look fine when I import them to my comp.

  • the close up of the bird hatching was amazing! i love this video.. nice work! :D

  • i got 4 choices to make..which camera should i buy?

    canon hfs10

    canon hf200

    canon hg20

    canon hv30 Help me!!

  • i originally bought the HF20 (which is pretty much identical to the HF200 u mentioned) and i went back to the shop and exchanged it for the HFS10. The reason was because the HF20 was very bad in low light. However outdoors i found the HF20 to be just as good as the HFS10 in quality. So it depends where ur doing most of ur filming. the other 2 models i havent tried, sorry.

  • Dude, this is the coolest video i have ever seen.

  • i use a casio exilim with camera stand! its so clear and doesnt easily blur!

  • Thats a great camera!
