Beaver on the Waterfront Trail, Hamilton, Ontario

They're all over the place in this area ... they've actually chewed their way through many of the small saplings that were planted along the trail. In the Winter you can see them doing their "busy beaver" thing on the banks of the water in the marsh area and also in the pier 4 area along the trail.
