Joko crumbles under pressure, thats why he has done nothing since winning his slam. Delpy has fallen apart since the open, he has been out by average players since. Yes, doing it at the slams counts but doing it over and over is more important. Not just once. Murray is setting up his stall by increasing his stamina and his strength, now he has it all in place we will see what he does. He is in it for the long haul, not just for one slam.

Considering there is only 4 slams in the 12 months its not really an achievement to do it once and not again. in the length of time he has had his. Murray decided not to defend his ranking points and put his focus else where. Doesnt matter where you are in the rankings. You are still going to have to hit your way through the top 4. Delpy is only 5 points ahead of Murray. So your comparisons are really pie in the sky.

I dont think Roddicks will be, but Im not too sure about Nadal, its the start of the session , its the first slam, he has not played that many games, yet his knee has started to play up. He wont get much rest between tourneys. It would be wise to do that however he has points do defend. With him going out now he has lost his number 2 ranking.
