I wouldn't have thought the emperor scorpion was considered a desirable scorpion for eating (due to the size and hair), but on second though, I suppose there's no reason NOT to eat that species. I'd give it a shot, but they go for around $20 a pop at the pet stores here. I'd love to find them online somewhere, maybe frozen as opposed to dried, like the hotlix kind. Dried and fried just doesn't seem very appetizing. Great vid though!

@rkmugen it's heat not oil that denatures the protein by altering the structures in the rna. although denatured proteins can't function in the original way i'd want to make sure it was very very cooked before eating its tail.

@Az562008 -- try calling Hotlix.com. You have to actually call them on the phone and ask for them as they don't advertise them on their website. They will send you small, dried scorpions that were raised for human consumption -- you can eat the whole thing, stinger and all! Alternatively, try your local pet store.
