I agree at this case but I think there aren´t many wellknown USBM bands until I know -do you recommend some more?. Anyways I still prefer blackened death metal at US style ! :)

True, well you have Absu but I don't know if you could classify them as black metal, they have been called "occult" metal or "dark" metal....

Many of The best USBM are a little more obscured than The European ones. Weakling, Xasthur and Wolves In The Throne Room are good examples of this

@ogrebattle22763 I know this is a late comment, but you should hear them now. They are incredible. Each CD gets better reviews. I've seen them 3 times, my son about 20! The lead singer and keyboardist are brothers. They give 100% to the music.
