  • Honda is almost as American as Harley these days. I don't think Harley or Davidson were native Americans, so that whole 'foriegn' bike bullshit holds no water. Harley owners must all be racists. I'd rather ride a Rebel 250 than a Sportster.

  • i think honda should have hid the control cables in the handlebar.

Its a pretty bike with a messy cabled front end.

  • to all of you people that keep saying how harleys are overpriced.... have you ever looked at the price tag? Do you just look at the most expensive one and assume thats what they all cost? A goldwing costs more than a full dresser harley. A sportster costs less than a shadow....

  • I like the blue one, Hondas last forever, my z50R minibike is 28 years old.

My 79 CBX ran like a watch.

  • ok everyone knows metric is better and HD sucks (my opinion there bring it on harley lovers) they are just too expensive its a rip off

my heart is in italy but my wallet is japan when it comes to bikes

and the fury is just ok....日本のオートバイは一番いいよ

  • After HD's poor ride with AMF... they turned to Honda (Japan) to learn a production method called Kaizen (sp?). It is basically an efficient assembly process, cost savings, blah, blah! In doing so HD contracted MANY parts through Japan MFR's.

Do you homework! The world is flat! If you diss Jap bikes and Quality, look at what you're sitting on!

All that matters us that you're on two wheels and the rubber side is down!

  • I,m aware of the parts sourcing i knew that the sportsters were using there parts",molds"for years !!! but its not japanez design thats the the thing, its a harley!!! im old enuf to remember the AMF CRAP ,i dont like the NEWER asembly line harleys , "the pre 70's stuff,im into" kick start galoping idle's hemispherical pistons, magneto's e.t.c.the new stuff is money makn assembly line boring,i agree rubber side down

  • Most choppers have small tanks. And yes I'm aware of the poor welding (I'm very dissappointed in Honda for doing so) Honda is ussually much better quality than this.

  • You do not like Victory?

    Because they are basically meteric?

    Just curious?

I'm confused on the foreign thing!

Note: Catching a yellow jacket in your shirt @ 70 mph can double your vocabulary!

  • A lot of people making shitty comments tells me you do not ride or you're a fucking poser! the only thing that should matter in that you're on two wheel and the rubber side is down... note: midnight bugs taste best!

  • I've seen a few harleys with shitty welds - are you trolling? LMAO

  • You will find no plastic on my Harley, except maybe the plastic on wiring . All the chrome you will see on my ride is chrome steel.

  • Harley look alike? You fucktards.... THe Honda SHADOW might be a harley look alike but keep in mind harley is starting to cover plastic with chrome and has NEVER produced a CHOPPER

  • ohh no shit harley never made a chopper?? that's the point fucktard, choppers were made in the 60's by bikers to prove a point..not some big company trying to make a buck because there bikes wont sell.i have both,,, but guess what ? i don't want my yamaha to LOOK LIKE MY HARLEY. honda's bikes wont sell thats why there building this junk poser bike....

  • Their bikes wont sell? Keep dreaming.... That's one of the most ignorant things I've heard all year. This bike would out perform and outhandle any harley by astronomical ammounts. Not to be mean to harley.... I mean they are finally moving away from 50s technology, that's at least a step.

  • any harley?? ok i'll take that bet.. when you wanna get your ass kicked??because i can think of a couple harley's that will eat this plastic piece of shit and shit it out..harley wont put out there bikes with gobb's of horsepower because they want you to have the choice of performance parts or just cruise like it is.

i started with 52 hp stock on a 02 dyna and ended with 174.5 on the spray dont believe me look up hogzilla on myspace. still wanna play any harley????

  • "fucktard" "thats funny", that honda just looks too assembly line,"no offence to any one" but kinda rinky dink, like a single piston 80's honda rebel....

  • naa dont look anything like A HARLEY with the stretched back bone, extended down tubes, teardrop tank, bucket head light, vtwin, extended front end, forward controls, ect ect NOPE NOTHING LIKE A HARLEY

  • Yep... Because harley coined all of those looks... (In case you're too ignorant, that was sarcasm)

  • What's up with this mix? Nice bike.

  • Fuck whoever doesn't like it. I'm getting one. Only faggots talk shit about other people's rides. Don't worry about what other folks like between their legs, It's their business. Just Ride!

  • Ride like you stole it!

  • I like it, I just wish that it didn't say honda or have emblems on it anywhere.

  • If HD really was PRO USA, they would build quality machines that perform like well oiled machines rather than use out-dated technology, and poor quality standards (not to mention price gouge their cult members). You PRO USA idiots should know that over 60% of your parts are made outside of our borders! Ride like you stole it bitch!!!!!!!!!!!! peace out girl scouts!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • anybody know how much these bikes sell for?

  • Your Honda dear.

  • according to "2009 STREETBIKE BUYER'S GUIDE" it is tagged $12.9/$13.9

  • i think is going to be a harley killer. HD,please do something. you're losing the war.

  • Wow, I like harley's in all, but the die hards out there make em sound like there the greatest/badest bikes ever made. My buddy has two of em, in my opinion, overhyped drastically underpowered, and way over priced. I wasn't impressed at all riding them. Not to mention the tiny tot tires they put on them. What gives?

  • Thats bad-ass, RELIABLE and not overpriced...I'd buy one!

  • Oh look!

Another UNDERPOWERED, POOR HANDLING, POOR BRAKING, EXCUSE of a motorcycle made by AMERICAN HONDA.

They make great sportbikes (I have a 1000RR) but their current cruiser/standard lineup BLOWS. They haven't made a good cruiser/standard since the V65 Magna and V65 Sabre.

This bike is lame. It's Honda trying to capitalize on HD's sheep-fest.

  • Wow... I didn't think this bike was even on the market yet, but you've already ridden this bike? Can you give us a complete review? Thanks!

  • the strange thing is you like the V65 Magna and Sabre but you are quick to judge the fury. the only reason i woundnt consider the fury is because they are moving production back to japan next year. cant feel good riding it

  • This is going to be one of the best copies of the Harley ever made. Just take off the emblems and put some drag pipes on it. Look out Polaris, here comes Honda!

  • Are you joking or actually stupid?

  • Sounds like you never rode a Valkyrie! I smoke V65's as well as all Pork Riders.

  • "Very true" its the money there after, its a shame "our young and old are selling out "and discracing, any american machine, its not mileage reliability performance or looks,i dont care if we had to push, the muther fucker's around, stand up for your country buy american,or at least have respct for your own...

  • Do some homework before you start stating that HD is all American! In this Global market, NO manufacturer would survive without out sourcing!

    Midnight bugs taste best

  • Brutally lame. It has a nasty reputation as marketing hype. Just say, No, to American Honda.

    Sincerely, Honda V65 Magna owner

  • custom pegs.... 75.00 dollars

    custom paint .... 1500.00 dollars

rolling up on a fake ass wanna be harley thinkin your billy bad ass on your HONDA

    PRICELESS!!!!!!!

  • You're right, Honda is better than Harley.

  • very beautiful bike hope they come out with an 1800 in the future.

  • ive got a vtxr 1300 an its plenty enough beleive me an im not a small guy 380 so i wouldnt even want an 1800 for me anyway im happy with the 1300 I have.

  • I ride a Harley and that is nice looking bike.

  • I'm glad you can say that... Most harley riders just assume that all metric bikes suck.... Harley has just as much chrome covered plastic as honda!

  • No plastic on my Harley, I can guarantee that.

  • Yeah? Well maybe I've seen rare but alot of new models are chrome covered plastic. Not that it's a bad thing... I've seen the fury in a show room and I'm pretty sure it's all steel.

  • fkn wankers ,the harley has been gradually getn bigger off the shop to stay with the others , and obviously to make a stronger motor ,smoother power and these guys don,t even use the 1800????????????????????????????????

  • Very nice video. Eagles are a good band, and the bike is cool as well.

  • Why not put the vtx 1800 engine in it?

  • I'll have to see it in person, but I'm expecting a fit and finish from Honda like no back yard built S&S chopper out there. Plus it wont be 30-40 grand like the others. Now...Could someone out there please tell me why everywhere I go, people keep posting that this is a Harley look-a-like??!!!

....Harley has never even made a chopper and most all choppers are always S&S engines.

  • posting it as a harley look-a-like is typical HATER behavior. folks can't appreciate something for what it is. hell, i ride a metric cruiser, but i like the harleys too! harley davidson must do something with the prices of their bikes to stay competitive though.

  • my local dealer said around 11,500 to 12,500 we shall see

  • i was hoping about the same price range as the VTX 1300!

  • looks like a Harley to me but better cause its a Honda

  • what a great looking bike. I want one, and i can't even ride!

  • Hopefully, not more than 13.000$

  • I saw this bike today at a show. Nice, but with a VTX 1300 engine and a tank a little over 3 gallons, you'd be lucky to get 120 miles out of it. Good enough for around town I suppose. Looks bitchen' in flat grey.

  • Very nice looking bike...but I think Honda is a little too late on this model. Any rumors of the price on it?

  • I work at a dealership and all I know of pricing so far is that it's a bunch less money than a Victory or Harley.

Sort of an entry level chopper style bike with nice styling and a great motor.

But for sure you will need to plan your out of towners with fuel stops in mind but then, what chopper rider doesn't?
