he had 10 thousand strong at least, so including the the marge with that and the amount that lurtz commanded that would give him a max of 12:000 uruks, the moviemakers made 200,000 orks because they chose that many or else the animation took out of control, in tolkien letters is the number 600 thousand chosen. and about gondor: you should read my part better, i mentioned that.

extra note: saruman had 12.000 uruks, 750 orcs, 100 wargs, 1 ram, like 500 wildmen, lurtz, 2 mines, 10 berserkers, 3 balistas. SAURON had 20 oliphaunts, 100 easterlings, those 600.000 orcs (at minas tirith), with 10.000 extra in mordor, wargs, haradrim warriors (amount is uncertain), 8 normal nazgul, witchking, gothmog, 2 rams, grond, 9 ships full of corsairs. and these are just the numbers that are in gondor and mordor. Think of the rest of Sauron's army in the north!

Only because you only see a couple of them doesn't mean that Saruman would base his entire attack on 1 ram and 2 mines... there were several more, if not they would have been pwned even more then they did :)

that had so few mines, becuz saruman was the only one who could manufacture these things, and it cost lots of time to mix. and clearly as we know from helms-deep battle, saruman DOES base his attack on those two mines.
