Disappointing movie. Danes doesn't quite capture feel of her character, Gummer is ok yet boring, and Close is great but too intense in relation to everyone else's acting in their character. I'm glad that I watched it but it's definitely not a movie I intend to watch again. I don't think that the book translated well into a movie.
