  • Also i will speak english correctly one day....

  • I refused to not like this band out of ignorance and biased reason...what else is new?. it bothers myself so that I am just now liking them now lol... but this band it actually awesome.

  • @ChameleonAlley: If he had one I would have gone on a homicidal rampage. :/

  • @ChameleonAlley

god no! Eminem all the way!

  • @amoghthegamer Because voters can recognize good music(:

  • @webbies4

    you do know nobody VOTES?

  • @amoghthegamer I am wondering the same thing . . .

  • @amoghthegamer

I might wanna kill you a little.

  • @amoghthegamer How about because it's a seminal work from real musicians and lyricists with honest to god sociopolitical themes and poetry? And not just another shitty pop album crafted by a marketing team to sell big?

  • beach Boys+ Bruce Springsteen= City with no children

  • I love it when he mentions my hometown Houston :D

  • Springsteen meets Lynch and Badalamenti... The album grows with every next listen. Really nice. The music definitely lives up to its album title. Thumbs up.

  • This is brilliant, shuff off to all the haters. This is engaging and original.

  • It really is an ode to springsteen.

  • i think this aint that good. one of the weakest on the album. reminds me of 'we built this city on rock and roll'.

  • @cullyhanna : so, you are really going to compare this song to a horrible Starship song which was voted one of the worst songs of all time? Wow.

  • Fucking love this song. I rarely buy CDs anymore, but I went on release day and picked this up. No regrets.

  • Sorry I just don't see why the album is so popular. It seems to be an aquired taste for me.

  • Best song on the album, I like it almost as much as Antichrist Television Blues

  • @melmes03

glad your saying. just read a review where this song was the only negatives they had to say about the album (it got 9 out of 10) and mentioned it didnt have anything to do on the album. after hearing through out the album i would say this is a quite good song. so im glad someone shares my opinion :P

  • @melmes03 That is such a fantastic song.

  • @melmes03 I gotta go with Antichrist Television Blues, that song gives me the fucking willies every time I hear it.

  • @Heligoland43 yeah same, hands down my fav

  • I like this song apart from the cheesy chorus

  • Epic...this will be considered one of the great albums of our generation

  • Respond to this video... This album expands on past themes, the lack of freedom we have as "middle and lower class" citizens and the tendency to think we have plenty. We also have a tendency to wait for a big pay off, (heaven, retirement, wealth, love) and go about it in a traditional and practiced way. This song talks about our society's failure to instill a welfare for all, and the way we justify our greed with capitalism. (sounds Socialist, i know.)

  • @lukeloseth: I think what ghost was getting at is that the idyllic notion of "living in the suburbs," and what the "suburbs" generally used to represent, are gone. The suburbs are literally still there, yes, but they carry different meanings for our society today than in decades past

  • ah.... this is going to be incredible. <3

  • There gonna be song like Neighbourhood 4? Or in the backseat?

  • this reminds me of springsteen

  • @stevenbconrad

hell yeah arcade fire always reminds me of springsteen.

  • @stevenbconrad I thought the exact same thing!

Someone agrees with me c: wheeew.

  • @stevenbconrad -- wow, no kidding. Where's the big overblown sax solo? : )

  • @stevenbconrad god help us

  • ....for all who say that this album is a different theme from the normal arcade fire are wrong. This album is going to be just as great.

In cause you dont understand the meaning of the suburb album cover and they style ill clue you in. They are trying to show you how times have changed and will never go back they way they are. In reality the suburbs are a memory of the past and gone forever. dead and gone.

  • @ghostSTL

actually this album is classic arcade fire. I guess non normal arcade fire would be neon bible.. because that album is nothing like there others.

  • @ghostSTL "In reality the suburbs are a memory of the past and gone forever" the hell are you babbling about? i was born in the suburbs, I was brought up in the suburbs, and guess what, I currently live in the suburbs. the suburbs are everywhere, have you ever been to a city?

  • @ghostSTL I wish you would stop posting this on every single damn upload from this album. No one rightly cares what you think.

  • The best song I've heard from the new album so far

  • shit being arcade fire alone would have been more than enough for me to go get it even had i not already heard the instant classics , WE WE USED TO WAIT!!!!!

  • totally agree with you, this album will be a classic, im sure :D

  • holy flying spaghetti this album is gonna be amazing. Rococo, Modern Man, City With No Children, The Suburbs, We Used To Wait. More than enough reasons to buy it before i've even heard them properly.

  • @Methelin

AHAHAHA I have exactly the same tastes as you. Those songs are my favorites from the (future) new album too :P. (especially Modern Man )

  • @FckDeLonelyTree Modern man is fantastic. I love that song.

  • @Methelin Is flying spaghetti the spaghetti you fling at an annoying sibling? ;) lol

  • @akendall97 haha no it's from the church of the flying spaghetti monster (lookitup!)

  • @Methelin hahha I did! WTF! lolll!

  • @Methelin You fucking called it bud, haha.

  • @Methelin It's the kind of album you have to listen to all in one go, or you're missing out on SO MUCH.
