  • u came in WAY TOO HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "I assume you praticed for this sort of thing....right?" lol

  • why dont we shoot for a 90 degree appraoch next time? :D

  • Aw come on guys... I got you and the aircraft down in one piece didn't I. Stop whining.

  • lol best glide is 65 kts IAS and u fly 80 lol

  • 68.

  • Carendo and RealAir especially have some more acurate flying models of airplanes.

    realairsimulations . com

    carenado . com

The flight model for realair was actually made by a fligh school in Australia, and its Cessna does some of the maneuvers impossible in a default MSFS Cessna, including spins and slips.

  • right rudder left aliron nose on the runway but still a great video AAAAAAA+++++++++++

just slip her and your apporach will be finw

  • Sure you can descent at more than 1800 fpm, just do a slip. You won't even pick up that much speed. Although you need a Carenado or RealAir Cessna to be able to do it in FS.

As far as John, he got the plane down, that is all that matters sometimes.

There's always pointers from actual pilots, but this is FS after all.

  • love the plane.

  • Then stop acting like you do!

  • Then quit yappin' like you know everything.

Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk.

  • Keep them to yourself.

It's only Youtube. It's only Flight Sim.

Not everyone is INCREDIBLY GOOD like you, we all have to start somewhere.

Just remember you were a newbie once too.

Besides, he got the plane on the ground.

  • Woa, sorry PILOT IN COMMAND

  • Hey, is a joystick really needed to play this? I remember combat flight simulator 3 wasn't so bad with keyboard only.

  • yes

  • It's not NEEDED but it makes things a hell of alot easier.

  • good job

  • wouldnt fancy doing that in a real cessna 172 on that kind of terrain

  • Beautiful landing

  • i manged to get an 747 to hover thhen go down tail end first in flightsim04

  • Hey ! - it's a mission in FSX i just though wtf at the first time, but then i turned around and landed perfectly on the runway you may just have passed..

  • A couple points. First, you want to slip on final when you are that high. Second, you should S turn to avoid coming up too high as well.

    -Robert, FAA Certified Flight Instructor

  • Thanks Robert. No error in flight sim. It's a task or mission to test your pilots skills. I was a little high on approach, better than too low heh heh.

  • Cool!! I am a pilot. Robert Robert. Neverheard of you. On the mission i chose ST. Stefan

  • hey, can you try to figure out why when i do this mission when i land i spin in circles then stop in the middle of the runway

  • Are you flying the tailwheel? If so that would be a reason you spin in circles after landing. This video shows a "training wheel" plane that will not do that. If you choose the 172 or 182 like the OP then it will be easier.

    -Robert, CFII

  • im using the same plane

  • No not spinning in circles. The aircraft is a Cessna 172. I was using my remaining momentum to clear the runway.

  • Why does the prop stop? Must be an error in the simulator.

  • I get the same issue on occasion: FS2004, Saitek yoke/throttle. I jiggle the mix and it's all good, but if it's turbo, you gotta respool.

  • Nice Sarajevo-style approach. Good call not extending the glide over the ridge: Odds were completely against it.

  • reall cool a lot better than my flight sim vids!! just kinda weird!!
