  • Common knowledge. Training in a particular discipline is optional and preferential. Boxing, akido, atemi, judo, and ju jitsu would all apply in these professions. Time and dedication is what is subtracted, not just by a low budget, but by long and odd hours working overtime.

  • Its sad to see how law enforcement puts more emphasis on training than actual reasoning in complex situations. Knowing from experience, the law is not on your side when law enforcement comprehension levels are below eighth grade standards. Last point, they regain the fat when they are on duty, so is this actually useful when their fitness reduces and increase their fat production.

  • if all police around the world knew Gracie Jiu-Jitsu... there would be no crime unless Chuck Norris turned bad

  • I'm looking forward to the DVD version of this. I rather train via DVD then not train at all. Let's keep it real.

  • Cops & military that think they can learn jujitsu in a few instructor seminars are delusional. Typically, guys that take the leo course are dominated by any blue belt. It takes a solid 2 years of weekly 4hours of training to become competent.

  • @Aryangod40 No kidding, just like strength, this too doesn't come overnight

  • Guys, seriously. Stop feeding the troll.

His purpose is to act stupid and get you to argue with him, so he can feel like he actually stood up for himself today...

  • Do you have any plans on making this available on DVD also?

  • Some of the guys I work with are working through the Gracie University stuff with me because it was the best grappling instruction we could find that was available to us in our area. Wish we would have known about this, or it would have been available when I bought the university stuff because this is clearly more suited to LEO use. Great product guys, keep up the good work. Maybe we can end up with this one at some point in the future.

  • It's amazing how passionate these two are. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu will be in good hands for a very long time.

  • I wonder how much money the Gracie's are making from teaching Jiu Jitsu. Amazing

  • is this shot in front of blue screen? or green screen rather? ;)

  • @lezardaki No, that is there training location.

  • @HollywoodNeverGiveUp kinda looked like it. thanks.

  • All u fuckers beneath me are a buch of trolls.u bitches stop arguing about Stupidass shit and begin your life

  • Rener doesn't even breath after talking that fast haha

  • Outstanding !!!!!!!!

  • Thank you Gracie brothers for continuing to make this course better. One thing I would suggest if you aren't already gonna do so. When ya make an update or change to the curriculum, shoot out an email to all the folks certified letting them know there was a change. Or, maybe an announcement on The Gracie Insider. Thanks again, I appreciate ya........

  • @ all that just don't get it.........Not sure what all the grumbling is about on here. Sounds like someone is a little envious of what the Brothers are doing. I have taken the course a few times so know how effective it is. I am sure that any of the Gracies would still accept a good old fashion challenge match. That would probably put any question or doubt to rest........

  • Apart from their amazing jiu jitsu ,the gracies fully understand the psychology of fighting and what really works and wat does not

  • There's no tap out in a street fight!!! GJJ FOREVER

  • @Ethan10510 cause this is a video for adults, not kids

  • wow so much talking

  • hey what if the officer is a girl an gets over powerd, or what if the cop is weak mentaly he cant handle tht kind of situation

  • @themagicaltragic For the first one, unlike many martial arts Jiu Jitsu rarely relies on brute strength or even speed. It is about leverage and body mechanics. It gives you a set of tools that are almost as effective against unarmed attackers as the real weapons you carry. Girls in Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Aikido can control, throw and sub larger males just by technique. For second one, training until fully confident is only solution. Don't forget both have access to powerful weapons as cops too.

  • @utubesqueeze ok so if therres a 90 pound women oficcer agaist a 300 pound truck drive , but the truck driver has realy big musles an gets pissed at the women an decides to go all out an she doesnt see it commin who do u thinks gonna win ? lmao my brother out powerd 6 cops an they were usin all there strenght imagine if was agaist one , he would stop him even if they new jui jitsu but ? explain a big ass gorilla black motha fucka against a averge joe police officer , guess whos gonna win

  • @themagicaltragic Also, not many people can go all out against a woman - even other women. So, in a sense women actually have an advantage in not sustaining serious injury and having further opportunities to get distance and defend IF they are sufficiently trained and confident.

Yes, if someone is all out to KILL you, has the element of surprise or a weapon, man or woman you are in big trouble. So, half the reason any resistance works is cos ordinary ppl can never go completely all out.

  • @utubesqueeze dumb shit i said criminaly insane sonemone who does'nt want to go back to jail an the women police officer is the only one stoppin him from keepin his freedom, an since ur tryin to be right surprise isn't a element water ground fire an air are elements , an ordinary people cant go all out but u were talkin about leverage an ur body movements but this coure isnt about grapplin its about how u could get out ur weapons in positions were they cant get them .

  • @themagicaltragic I think you may have missed the point of the program or you're just trolling. If an officer/peace keeper is weak mentally, he/she should not be in the business of law enforcement. Police are given tools to protect others and themselves such as firearms, tasers, mace/pepper spray, etc. Having an arsenal of functional self-protection strategy and techniques is another tool they must have and use.

  • So if an officer/peace keeper is overpowered regardless of gender, he/she needs to have some tool to help him/her to survive the attack. This program helps to fill the gap. No it is NOT the end all to be all. Other tools like firearms, tasers, mace/pepper spray, etc. don't always work. However, they are needed to help them do their job.

  • @maleman008041978 lol i watched the same video as u did

  • @utubesqueeze sorry but the avergewomen couldnt hanlde a criminaly insane dude from throwin hammer fists as hard as he can , its a tough sitiuation agaist stronger people but just lazy punks its different thats were jiu jitsu would have more of a affect

  • @themagicaltragic that's the point. Since when is a martial art and cop trained person "average". The risk of ambush is always there, but cops are specifically trained already to create distance, this GST training like other tactical training adds to that and also trains them escapes+control in many situations. The perp has to not only surprise them but go all out, have greater stamina, strength and speed AND have to capture the weapons or use their own or they are toast... many places to defend

  • @themagicaltragic That's why cops carry guns, my friend. They are the ultimate equalizer. Yes, a 90 pound woman with a gun can do fine against a 300 pound truck driver if she is trained properly.

I do not expect a 90 pound woman to out-grapple or out-box a 300 pound guy, nor would I ever expect them to try. A 90 pound cop would be legally justified in putting 5 bullets into the chest of any guy that size who tries to attack her, because the courts understand she has no chance in a fist fight.

  • @MrGarky lol nor would u expect nigga shut the fuck up an get back to ur life, u back talkin bitch lmao an a fagget as well

  • @themagicaltragic "Nigga?" I'm not black and I suspect neither are you. But at least it's clear now that you aren't interested in making any sense.

    Enjoy your anonymity, internet warrior.

  • @MrGarky ha fagget , i just lost interest in arguein with a nobody cause i have no idea who u are, an all ur doin is just talkin shit an tryn to make ur self look all good but ur pussy behind a computer sorry bro i cant keep arguein i have a life.

  • @themagicaltragic it looks like YOU don't have the mental capability to handle anyone at all, which is why you hide behind a computer. i'll give you my address so you and your "criminally insane" brother can go to my house (i'm 5'8" and 120lbs) and eat the bullets on my glock.

btw, it's not "fagget" it's "faggot". it's "arguing" not "arguein". i'm sure your browser highlights words in red if you spelled it wrong but you're too stupid to even know that huh?

  • @MikkoTV ur 5'8 120 pounds lmao no need to correct me i kno how to spell , im 6'0 210 pounds i have a big advantage lol sorry bro u aint gangsta

  • @themagicaltragic i sent you my address. i'd like you and your "criminally insane" brother to go to my front door throw your hammer fists while i have a glock on your face.

  • @themagicaltragic and seriously, you think you're tough? after fuck your "criminally insane" brother up, i'll personally drive you your 210 morbidly obese ass to the Gracie Academy and you can take the Gracie Challenge. I'll go to Rener and tell him, that you don't think GJJ works. I'll tell him that he doesn't need to hold back and that he has full permission to snap, choke, etc... you. But of course, you have to show up to my front door first. So get going buddy! =D

  • @MikkoTV LMAO omg i said a criminaly insane big motha fucka not me, an dude u pussy what u talkin about, u said sayin it to ur face u made a big statement an didnt say shit to my face sorry bro ur pussy

  • @themagicaltragic i sent you the address to my home. you could be some "criminally insane" mother fucker, and i just gave you my address to come to my door and say shit to my face. and what do you do? you go to Youtube with your obese, illiterate, fat ass, call me a pussy and ask for my age? really mister ganster rapper? that's the best you got? I'm 22, underweight, and I'm challenging you to go to my house to talk shit to my face yet you hide behind your Goodwill PC and call me a pussy?

  • @MikkoTV lmao hey i challenge you come to 100 street 79 ave 10078 edmonton ,

  • @themagicaltragic what the fuck am i supposed to do with his? for the love of god were you actually educated? usually when you give your address to someone, you format it like this: 1000 B St, City, Zipcode. i have no idea what to do with that shit. you're giving me this bullshit address to make it seem like you're mister tough ass rapper and say "lmao" like it doesn't phase you, but you know for a fact that your very manhood is being challenged and you have no idea how to handle it.

  • @themagicaltragic and you know what i just thought of? even if you gave me a real address, you'd probably give me a fake one. that's probably how pussy you are. because you bit more than you can chew. you didn't think your keyboard courage would actually require you to grow balls. you're afraid that your puny, microscopic, testicles would get you into so much bullshit.

the challenge still stands. if not, go away with your microscopic balls tucked between your obese legs.

  • @MikkoTV HAHAHAHA lmao

  • @themagicaltragic you act like every criminal is criminally insane? do you even know what the word insane means? the word didn't even exist until the justice system needed a word for someone that had no control over their own actions because of mental instability, which means, a "mentally insane criminal" doesn't even have the mental capability to overpower most officers who are trained to handle them.

  • @chavamma

All those belts and accolades and your still really just a white belt, dude you have wasted ALOT of your money

  • The pigs should just learn catch wrestling

  • Ground fighting is only the building blocks of the full GJJA arsenal. They train you from the ground up, from the worst case scenario all the way back to prevent ever having to go to the ground. However, it is the most essential because a bigger/stronger/faster/meaner bad guy IS GOING TO put you on the ground. No one can avoid it, not even Anderson Silva

  • Helio was ranked high in judo u foolish people

  • @chavamma

    4. GJJ has huge amounts of aliveness, you y reflexes you can rely on even if panicked/injured/disoriented 5. ALL the techniques are exclusively leverage based, making them far more reliable than pain-based techniques 6. GJJ provides it's practicers with basic fighting fundamentals to enhance the life or death techniques. 7. EVERYONE from grandma to 4-year olds can execute the techniques

  • @chavamma

No, it's not. I would like to hear a TECHNICAL breakdown of how you believe a wholly unproven system is superior to a proven one. GJJ is far superior because it 1. Allows you to regulate the damage to the attacker (more court defensible) 2. Enables guaranteed ways to end fights, broken limbs/ unconsciousness rather than pain compliance 3. Can be used in a playful sportive mode to a street survival mode

  • Krav Maga is superior to the Gracie Combatives or Gracie Combatives...

  • @chavamma No one ever said it wasn't, but if you end up on the ground against a jiu jitsu specialist, your still fucked. There is no doubt that for stand up self defence krav maga is superior. Jiu Jitsu is primarily a sport

  • @JordForster I know no one mentioned it its a fact I wanted to imply, and no Jiu Jitsu specialist? Krav maga has ground training however we avoid it is useless. GJJ is just BJJ they never fought real Judokas which is why Kimura defeated Helio all "GJJ" really is, the ground technique of Judo.

  • @chavamma What's your point, we know that bjj is primarily about ground fighting, we acknowledge it, and thats what we're about. Thats why Royce Grace won 3 out of the first 4 ufc championships, through his ground work. It's still massively effective against people with no ground training.

And just so you know, kimura was about 40 kilos heavier than helio, so he was advantaged. No doubt he was an amazing martial artist though,

  • @chavamma kick in the nuts, poke the eye. That is all Krav Maga is.

  • @chavamma You want to challenge a Gracie to a fight? How about your teacher vs a Gracie, I dont think so because you can hide behind your computer and know it all. I am positive they will accept your challenge.

  • @ijsaenz Any Day I hope they read my comment and contact me. -Kind Regards-

  • @chavamma I hope you accept the invite because I wanna see you get beat.

  • @ijsaenz Dude relax you're portraying me as a bully, all I stated was a fact, sure I'm a Ni-Dan in Krav maga I've also Dan grades in other arts Kyokushin & Judo. I've won many tournys in BJJ Masters division and I'm not a BJJ black belt. Judo is all you need. Gracies are Freemasons and Illuminati also they keep trying to come up with excuses as why Helio lost to Kimura.

  • Just ignore the chavamma twit. Anyone who dismisses an entire proven martial art so easily has had neither the experience they claim in *any* martial art nor even the basic understanding that it is never about the art but the fighter, their toolset and their context.

chavamma simultaneously dismisses BJJ and yet is clearly subbed to the channel of its prime promoters. All his posts are flame baits and do not even talk about the video. Don't feed the troll!

  • @chavamma I really hoping you're just trolling, but if you're actually serious, it's pretty safe to say you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. I'm sure you're very educated in the discipline of Krav Maga and I'm sure you have a basic understanding of Jiu-Jitsu (Winning tournaments against old people doesn't count as experience), however from the statements you've made you clearly don't know very much about GJJ. First of all, you can go ahead and stop rambling about Illuminati

  • @chavamma Second, Helio lost to Kimura because they were both skilled fighters, yet Kimura was extremely heavier, stronger, and larger than Helio. When skill is equal, size beats skill. Second, there is still no proof of Krav Maga's effectiveness, though I am very sure it is effective in certain situations, unlike GJJ, which has been proven time and time again. So you're an idiot. But I'm pretty sure you're just trolling anyway, so I won't waste my time anymore. Good day.

  • @chavamma you've never won shit, post your videos or shut the fuck up

  • @chavamma krav maga sucks. ive rolled with krav guys and as soon as they get on the ground they have no plan.

  • @DBKK many of them focus so much on the "your not suppose to go the the ground" mindset that when it actually does they have few skills in the area.

  • @pedro90 ya i cant find the video of their ground defense technique lol or sort of sprawl. its pretty sad they just push you away and then kick you in the back when you fall over.

  • great video

  • Police are abusing their power right now on Wall Street New York

  • @RedNYello505 Next time someone steals your car, remember you just said that

  • I and many, many of my countryman are very disappointed in our police. At one time we felt they were serving us and now people fear them. Read the Constitution my blue brothers. read it carefully as a citizen and not as a cop. Think about what it says. You took an oath to uphold and defend it. You do not have the right to stop protests if they harm nothing, you do not have a right to spy on computers or phones without warrants. You do not have the right to arrest people for filming you. Be just

  • werestling is as important as jiu jitsu for officers in my opinion.

  • do u teach only jiujitsu or wrestling also because both arts goes hand in hand.

  • These guys are great salesmen :)

US military initially have had some bad experience with BJJ (I believe it was even taught by a Gracie for one academy), because soldiers have been using it both in training and in the field for grappling. So, they had to modify it back to a tactical focus. This was some time ago though, so from the look of this programme, Gracies may have learned a lot from their experiences with tactical professionals. Do they work with police more than military though?

  • watch u tube , police state 4 ,terror storm , fabled enemies , fall of the republic , obama deception , don't tread on me , endgame , what in the world are they spraying , the secret of Oz , the money masters ......... thank you for the first tape ya'll but out in the mid 90's ,when i was doing aikido

  • it kills me everytime I see some video of "police brutality". whether it is or not, every situation is different. I just shake my head and say DAMN if these guys just learned some BJJ. I know it's a sensitive subject, but I feel todays Police are walking around too quick to pull thier gun, they are constantly in fear, which is wrong. Cops shooting unarmed kids? That's a situation to grapple if I ever heard one. I respect LEOS, but there's always some bad apples in the bunch.
