On a personal note, it is my personal desire and plan to keep visiting India and help orphanage homes and other non-profit organizations that center on helping the suffering regardless of their religion and ethnic background.

Charity work is both personally and spiritually rewarding because you make a difference in someone's life...and for that person, it might be a life or death situation.

It might heal you by being a part of the service team as it will open the other side of story for which only a volunteer's eyes and hearts can understand.
As an experienced volunteer I know that it is very difficult to satisfy everyone's needs and expectations because one can only do so much, and on a personal note it can be very emotional and exhausting as poverty is a world-wide problem but worst of all is that many don't want to do anything to help how as little as he or she can. But again, it's always the very people who try to make a difference in the lives of the unwanted and ignored cast in society that always gets the punch
