Thanks for replying to my question on the needle grips...I will go get some....my hands get so cramped that I have to stop for awhile....thanks alot....I love your flowers....
Oh please tell me where you got you covers for your crochet needles....They don't have anything like that in my area, Annapolis, Maryland.....I don't mind e-mailing for them....
@chilili441 They are pencil grips called gel grips. I get mine from Wal-mart in the office supply section. You can find places online that have similar grips.
Where did you buy the colorful crochet hook with the great grip on it? Or was that an add on from like a pen? It looks to be quite comfortable to crochet for hours. You are a such a good teacher BTW. I love all your tutorials. They are the best on the internet. I always tell anyone wanting to learn crochet to check you out.
@beccavenus I appreciate the comment. The grip on the hook is a gel pencil grip. It is something I put on my hook separate. I use plastic tubing to take up the slack for the smaller crochet hooks so the grips will work on them as well.
Ok so I have no idea how many flowers I have made but I have made a lot and connected them, some of them I had to go in and add another round of stitches like you said, and I have soooo much more to go! It's so small even though I have put countless days into making the flowers... I think this will be one of those projects where I will come back to it, when I feel like crocheting but don't know what to crochet. Thanks for the wonderful and easy to follow videos!
Oh Man I wish I would have watched this video after making the first flower... I made a whole bunch of flowers before connecting any of them... Is there a way that I can connect them now that I have made them with out connecting them while making them?
This looks like a great project! Have you finished it? I'm just wondering. I'm definitely going to try this. It's on my lists of "things to crochet" along with a blanket!
this is an awesome tutorial. thank you so much for sharing your talent. I also love your choice of colors. I have just learned to crochet. (I have been a knitter for mostly all my life)
Thank you so much for all of your wonderful videos. I have been learning to crochet this week and your videos are amazing and so easy to understand! I love your tutorial on the cheerful flower and look forward to trying other things as well! Thank you again!
Thank you for uploading this video. I've had lots of fun making these flowers as I used to make just granny squares. Through crochet I was able to quit smoking, thanks again.
same here! if it wasn't for crochet i'd still be smoking like a chimney :D now i spend the money i would have spent on cigarettes on WOOL!!! :D marvellous turn of events... congrats :)
You are an adorable teacher. I really pray that May Allah bless you and your family for sharing your crochet knowledge to the whole world. Thanks for your prompt relpy to my query.
Absolutely pretty. I've recently taken up crochet again. Your videos gave me the instructions I needed to refresh my memory. Unfortunately, I'm still at the beginner level, but my creations are ok. I'm pregnant now, and am determined to crochet some of my baby's things. Do you have a video that will teach me how to crochet a simple baby jacket/hoodie? I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks and more power!
Crochet patterns are much easier than they look. Some people have a little trouble reading them, so just message me if you need help and I can either type up a pattern and email it to you, or suggest one to you.
omg yaaaaa my sister wanted a scarf since its getting cold in london and she wanted one since i promised her a knitted scarf and i didnt make it :'( im sadd bout that but now i can make her a flower scarf lol
What's the best way to join circles or flowers that were already completed? I did a bunch of circles for a baby blanket but I didn't connect them as I was making them so now I just have a pile of circles. Please help.
What you will do is add another round to them for the purposes of joining. You could evenly space some chain 3's or chain 5's around the flower and connect the chain loop round to the chain loop round on the other flower. If you wanted to make it more solid, you could add another round of some double crochet. You could divide your circle in quarters and attach at the 1/4 point. If you have 40 stitches, you would attach every 10th stitch to the opposite motif.
Yes you can. It is just a joined or slip stitch of some sort. You can determine if you want more than 1 stitch at your join, maybe you want 2 instead. You can always add an edging to flower and join as you are adding an edging.
aww this is lovely

Is there a way to attach the flowers without crocheting them together? Like could i sew them together?
lshimola09 4 months ago
@lshimola09 I have the same question. I have already 35 flowers and I want to put them together, how can I do it?
5hildamaria 1 month ago
@5hildamaria This video is showing how to put them together. It gives a few options.
tjw1963 4 weeks ago
@lshimola09
Yes you can sew them together either by thread and needle or by crochet yarn and hook, your choice.
