ScareCrowDoll, well, the practices of these manufacturers are deceptive. One never knows from what or where their material came. Typically, I have seen boots made in China with dog fur inside the boot used for insulation.

The leather could be either baby seal or calf skins, which is equally horrible. All animals, whether domesticated or not, suffer horrendously for their skins and fur.

Perhaps you might want to consider wearing synthetic material shoes/coats/bags. It is so much kinder.
