Good song, unfortunately It didn't make the new album. Hopefully it'll be released at some point, maybe as a b-side. Just heard bits of the new album on Amazon, sounds good but this song should have been included, I think.
These guys rule and I'm glad they're back. Is it me, though, or does Ed look really weird these days? He's all puffy. I met him in Athens, Ga. and he seemed way burned out. Looks like they're back at the top of their game though!
UO sound pretty damn good in this video. I saw them in Chicago July 12, 2008 and was a bit disappointed. I had a great time, but it wasn't anything like it was in 1993. It's hard to put my finger on why I didn't dig this last UO show. They were a bit rusty, that's for certain, but still brilliant. My biggest complaint was the set list, unfortunately. One song from Americruiser and Supersonic Storybook, zip from Jesus Urge Superstar, a handful from Saturation, and lots from Exit the Dragon.
I was dying to hear Ticket to L.A., What is Artane?, God Flintstone, etc. UO will always have my heart. I look forward to the new record and another tour.
Candidate and What's This Generation... Not too shabby, I would have enjoyed hearing those two. Urge must be picking and choosing a few older tunes for every different audience. It could be worse, I guess. Cheers.
That's understandable, but that probably just varies from person to person. While I appreciate some of their older stuff, I enjoy the stuff off of Exit the Dragon the most. I wish they'd roll through Pittsburgh sometime soon, regardless of what the setlist is like.
This is exactly how I remember UO from Charleston in 2005. If it weren't for a terrible sound system it would have been truly awesome. This video sounds just like that... muddled vocals and all!

It's a real shame that Electric Airlines stuff was never released. It's really good.

@jevicci Agreed. Ed's unreleased Electric Airlines is where the soul of UO went, after that band spilt. Great tunes, great passion, great rockin'.

I was disappointed with the lack of early material with the Cambridge set also. The
only pre-Saturation stuff they did was Candidate and Generation,
and not even a single track from Americruiser/Jesus Urge.
