correct, losing pre-season games don't count. i believe michigan lost to central michigan, the mighty northwestern wildcats, and minnesota at home on the 40th anniversary of crysler arena in the regular season. msu finished the season ranked 13th in the nation. no one at michigan state is satisfied with 13th in the nation but it is funny that a michigan fan is ripping on an msu team ranked 13th in the nation when their own michigan team hasn't made it to the ncaa tournament in over 10 years.
