  • @PowerMadLabRat Yes like i know anything, i know God is real.

  • That must have been difficult growing up praying 3 times a day, being home schooled and going to Christian schools...you must not have had much free time to play COD.

  • @pedrocassies Fine say whatever you wanna say, but i know God is real, and someday you'll know that too.

  • @777SaraTaylor know?!? like you "know" you have hands?

  • Hell yeah Angie! Love ya!!! I think that "Christians" are so caught up in their beliefs that they forget to be good people. I'm not an Atheist, I'm not not an Atheist. But, I am a damn good man. I'll be able to say that when I'm dead.

  • "Bite me" You tell em, Angie!

  • @shadowsheik8611 Damn straight! She doesn't "fuck around" she tells it how it is

  • @pedrocassies You don't have to be soo rude, and i didn't mean for what i said to sound rude or anything but this video i took effensively, because i am a Christian and i do love God, and i dont believe Christianity is a cult, but please dont be rude.

  • @777SaraTaylor Whatever your definition of a cult is... Enlarge it to an international scale, and it fits Christianity. Or Islam. Or Scientology. Or Jainism. Or Taoism. People just use the word 'cult' to describe a small and not well established religion. Which Christianity -definately- was a couple thousand years ago - it just got bigger.

  • @GameFreak7744 @777SaraTaylor further more the term atheist was also applied to christians because they didnt accept the gods of the polytheists religions.

  • @777SaraTaylor You are retarted for taking the video "effensively". God is not real, and if he was he would suck ass and balls. So shut the hell up!

  • @AngieAntiTheist I am sorry that your family never gave you the chance to develop your own faith. I think that if you had the chance to decide for God once you were mature enough, you might have a different viewpoint. But please, check out Paul Washer. He really knows what he is talking about. (Btw, I wish that my family life looked like your childhood right now, but I'm not sure if I would believe the same way if i grew up in it.)

  • @ViDeOfee1994 Are you for real?

  • @peytonkeithdaniels You're an idiot.

  • well sounds to me like i was brought up in a cult to prayed over lunch dinner breakfast went to a christian school OMG PRAYED DAILY and shocker had a bible study. Why haven't i noticed it yet or wait maybe my family is religious OMG

  • Anti@ no GOD loves everyone equally no matter what so for you to says something like that is crazy plz think about what you say/type before you do it plz

  • You rock.

  • You were never really saved. This isn't because of some fault on your part, it's because like you said, Christianity is a cult. Christians are full of shit. They're not "saved" either, they just get programmed to think they are by their parents, pastors or whoever, and then when you grew up, like i did, you saw how fake it all was, and how much bullshit it was, and you see it for what it is, a cult that indoctrinates people into thinking they're so evil they deserve eternal torture.

  • My experience was all right. I kept telling them i don't like grape kool-aid but they kept forcing the shit on me. Now they're all in the other room sleeping and I'm up alone again watching youtube. Fuckin stinks in here.

  • There's a difference from reading the bible and understanding it. I can say I've read a Spanish book but I don't understand what is really being said.

  • i wish i would have grown up in a family like this. Im a christian an a generally no christian house, the grass is always greener on the other side.

  • I like you, you seem very intelligent. :)

  • Should of been Mormon! haha

  • I'm agnostic. When I talk about soda, I get really mad. That's why I only drink Dr. Pepper. 23 Flavors you don't know for sure.

  • @DGMSNightmanboy South Park reference?

  • Your grandmother was not really a Christian, she invented some crazy ass religion for herself. I feel so sorry for you, I don't think Jesus was ever part of your life, it was some seriously disturbed "religion" that your grandmother made up. You should be angry with her, not with God. He didn't do it, she did.

  • @bettymadmen That's exactly the kind of comment she referred to in the video...

  • @bettymadmen NIce job not watching the whole video, dumbass

  • I have to ask, when you say you read the bible at age 3 do you mean a children's bible or the actual Bible? Because if you read all the Bible at age 3 and understood it then damn, you were one advanced kid.

  • i was taught to be as good a person as i could and give thanks to god, the bible cant be completly proven in the esy of s scientist because its a representation of god on paper, everyone has different viwes on him so the bible has to taken to heart differently by everyone not in such a practical way.

  • that is not being christian, thats slavery seriously how miserable that must of been, i bet atheism must of been a step up for air for you. God is in the eyes of a baby, god is in the sky. god is life, love, happiness. it defines all good things. When you look at him as the truth that will set you free and not like a chain you wont be able to not love him. What your family did was read and read and eat paper.

  • U dont need to go to church to know GOD he's suppose to be in ur heart. I dont think u've had GOD and i'll bite u on that. And btw in ur videos u always look off to the side or down below the camera; are u reading a script? *blows raspberry!*

  • "I think I was more of a real Christian than they ever were". Lady, if you had really studied the bible and learned about the difference between "fact" and "blind faith" you wouldn't be saying some of the outrageous things in these videos. A real Christian is someone that loves God and believes in him. Putting all this garbage on youtube means you never truly loved him.

  • @lionel200000000 Who can love your god? I sure don't and I'm not afraid to say it. He doesn't love me, I'm a disposable piece of trash fit for the pits of hell, no value, no worth, nothing, just human trash ready to go to the dump. That's actually what Gehenna, from which you get the concept of hell, is--it was a huge burning garbage dump. That's what your god thinks of people. They're worthless trash. I never loved your god and I never will.

  • You sound like you grew up in a fundamentalist family, not a cult as you stated. It doesn't sound like an abusive childhood. I know many fundy families don necessarily teach critical thinking, neither do most atheist families. You make it sound as if you were abused by using the term cult. It actually sounds to me like Mom and Dad gave you a lot to be thankfull for. quit the fake "I was abused" crap.

  • Hahahaha!!! That is NOT a cult!! and btw if you were ever a REAL Christian then you never would of fallen away from God in the first place.

  • @777SaraTaylor That sounds very Calvinist to me.

  • @777SaraTaylor I see, you must be retarded.

  • not every family that isn't in a cult religious. some of them just live & abide by the law & not label everything as a religious act or an atheist act.

  • Angie - I think you are wonderful.(If I wasn't married, and too old, and on the other side of the world ... Damn!)

I really enjoyed the show you did with The Godless Bitches BTW.

    Love those Austin atheists.

  • You're awesome :)

  • Just because she identifies with Atheist does not make her a bad person. Religion is a way for one to identify and relate to Morality. The Bible is the Christian equivalent to the Quran, the Torah, or even Aesop's Fables. Live and let live, treat others the way you wish to be treated, pay your taxes... Angie is more intelligent and well-spoken than many Christians - it is not because she is no longer Christian, nor would she be any better if she were still Christian.

  • Thou shall not commit murder. Just one of the ten commandments. You did just that when you aborted your baby. I am a Christian and PROUD of it! Christianity is NOT a cult. It's just easier to commit sin than it is to live your life for God apparently.

  • @bluemoondiscount Oh bluemoondiscount, how I love reading your responses... Folly = Comedy. She never said Christianity is a cult - she said she was in a cult which claimed to follow Christian values. It must be nice living in a world where you can pick and choose what you hear or see, and then be able to start spewing ignorant statements.. By the way, have you learned to spell yet?

  • You had a "profoundly hard time" as a Christian in a "cult"--the lifestyle examples used being little out of the ordinary, and that had the effect of making you into the typical, jaded atheist.

I'd be happy to debate you on the necessity of God (or more generally, a supreme moral authority independent of our universe) for moral objectivity to exist, or how with further consideration on that matter, that metaphysical, "purposeful" foundation takes on something much the same as Christian beliefs.

  • How hard would it be to follow gods word? You shall have no other gods before Me. Don't try to saying you are him. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. Honor your father and your mother. You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet your neighbor's house. Life would be so much easier probably perfect even if everyone followed these rules. You can do anything except those.

  • christianity is NOT a cult, you want a cult? talk about mormonism or scientology, or any other religion really. (i'm an atheist)

  • @szeilea If Christianity is not a cult then neither is Mormonism...Mormonism is as Christian as Catholicism and Protestantism is. They are all denominations of Christianity.

  • @lvl99charizard no, you dont understand. Mormons believe in human prophets and normal people having the intellectual wisdom of God. Any group, organization, etc that praises a human being is a cult.

  • @szeilea All prophets are human - the Jewish community believes Jesus, a real human (and excellent carpenter,) to have been a prophet. In fact, Judaism is very much an accepted non-"cult" religion... 13 million people identify themselves as Jewish. Mormonism, which many perceive to be a cult ALSO has an active 13 million followers. Usually cults are not able to convince that many people to abide by their beliefs.

  • @szeilea I do get where you are coming from, but you are just wrong. If you had stated "Some extreme Mormon Fundamentalists are cult-like." you would of been correct.

  • @lvl99charizard okay, well i will go with what you said then:P and i get where you're coming from too, i don't know a whole lot about moromonism but i have a few friends that are mormon and they tell me some weird shit that goes on haha

  • @szeilea Thanks for taking my opinion into consideration :D My sister is a "when I feel like it" Mormon - some of the things they do definitely seem a little crazy... But then again I thought eating a waifer to symbolize human flesh or drinking juice for blood was weird too. & who knows, your friends may of very well been in one of those crazy spin-off "cults" haha.

  • @lvl99charizard haha i guess we'll never know unless we become mormon... which i have no interest in doing;P they are quite nice people tho, great family people also!

  • And when you said cult, I assumed you meant like "Children of the Corn."

  • Anti-theist? You're against multiple gods?

  • hey, just wondering, what religion were you raised in? Just curious.

  • @GordoMan91 Well..She said 'Christian' a few times in the video. Soooo..I donno maybe hindu? *Sarcasm*

  • @Deshift00 yeh. lol i realize that, but some people can say their 'Christian' and then the next sentence say that their Catholic, or Protestant, or Anglican. im a little confused, as being christian covers a number of different religions. cheers

  • @Deshift00 "Christian" can translate to many different denominations. You may be Catholic, or Protestant, Latter Day Saint, or possible even a new age Christian group. Those denominations may be broken even farther down, i.e. Christian>Protestant>Lutheran.

  • This doesn't sound exactly like the types of "cults" we normally hear about, it just sounds like a litle too harsh of a Christian upbringing. You may have had a terrible experience with these people, and it didn't suit you, but please try again. What is there to lose? If you believe there is no life after heaven then why not try out a relationship with Jesus before you die? If they aren't real, then I guess we will all find out when we die. But notice that I said relationship, not religion.

  • i do believe you gave god a try aqnd you were saved but the devil got to you and god loves you still you just havt to fight the devil god is real and he loves you try try agian

  • nice video, but ur only explaining ur an aethiest beucase you are not christian, you should look into other religons/ way of life to truly be an aethiest, god luck sister, peace and bless

  • My husband grew up in a cult exactly the same way you did. No medical care, no secular anything, he even had to get rid of ALL of his toys when he was very young. He had his childhood ripped away from him by these "christians"

His upbringing has brought him to a being a very outspoken atheist.

He has tested the waters in other churches, and all have brought him to the same conclusion.

I just wanted to say I'm glad we ran across your blogs. Thank you for sharing your life.

  • "Read the bible when I was THREE". I now believe every thing you say!

  • @polarstar3 I'm sorry if your delayed cognition and reading skills make it difficult for you to understand a different life.

  • @AngieAntiTheist

Even I have not been able to read the bible cover to cover, and YOU read it when you were 3 years old, inbetween diper changes perhaps! At what age were you able to speak properly?

  • @AngieAntiTheist Christianity is not a cult Im sorry but its not

  • @themessianicorthodox No but there are cults based around christianity.

  • @DisturbingRainbow If your talking about mormons its not based on Christianity Imnot Christian but I know

  • @themessianicorthodox I'm not talking about mormons though....

  • @themessianicorthodox Christianity is a cult.

  • @DollabiIIz2 no its not neither is islam or catholism

  • @pedrocassies No its not

  • @themessianicorthodox The Jew cult claims there was a Nazi conspiracy to kill them all with Zyklon B and diesel exhaust. That's even crazier than the jews that claim they were created from dust and a rib.

  • @DollabiIIz2 doesnt make us a cult thats a theory you fool

  • @themessianicorthodox Yes it is.

  • @pedrocassies You dont even know wha a cult is I can show you what a real cult is go to safford arizona

  • @themessianicorthodox You don't know what a cult is.

  • @pedrocassies same here dude

  • @pedrocassies i do mormonism is a cult free masons are a cult illuminati are a cult most likely your part of one

  • @AngieAntiTheist i get this, i could write my name at three and read but ppl think how, thats not possible. Hey dont blame me for being more intelligent?

  • that's a cult? sounds more like my family's definition of "a good christian family." I had a similar experience. Given I did go to public school. After all, that gave me the opportunity to spread the word of God to those who were not blessed to be brought up in a Christian family. However, I always assumed this to be a normal christian up-bringing O_o

  • @fatesealer94 I think what is "normal" depends on denomination, region, family level of religiosity, etc. and can vary a lot. Most people I know, both current Christians and former, view my childhood as on the extreme end.

  • @fatesealer94 She said she was raised in a very religious environment. But then so were the pharisees, and I'm sure they knew the Old testament far better than any of us do. But it doesn't mean they were saved. Now she may have very well been loved and the Bible shared in a loving way, but do we know that yet?

...Angie, I can't really think of a scripture to point out because Jesus is the Author of love, and while even the devil can recite the Bible word for word, he has no love.

  • What's it like not having a choice but choosing? difficult. The first video of yours i watch I about slagged you down badly and then you just confused me. As an Atheist, do you follow any custom now? I total reject Christmas. I had beans on toast and had a normal sunday laze about. Watch out for my videos there extreem!

  • you no wht dont believe in god thts between u and him but dont dis the ppl who do believe cuz not all christians are like wht u say... thts just ridiculous.

  • @multiElizabeth01

Christians go against god, did you know that? Because they are a religion. Jesus specifically told all of you not to be apart of a religion(cult), so, I will say Christians are hypocritical liars. Not the believers of Jesus, because they're actually doing it right. They support him with mind and heart, while Christians blindly follow some person who claims to be close to God (Priest, or Pope for Catholics.)

  • @AllyssSings christians do not go against god thts just silly they do not follow ppl. priest and the pope are just teachers. god says gather at a holy place to worship and taught the word of god. im non-denominational certain denominations are just wht they believe god is saying in the bible they just interpret it differently then other denominations.

  • @multiElizabeth01

Yes, but he still clearly states he isn't religious and you shouldn't be either, and I find listening to a Preacher* as crazy as listening to a hobo claim they're connected to God and can speak as him. Yes, they DO follow people, because they're in a cult. And by the way, I have never seen a Christian, in all my life, follow the bible through and through. There are parts of it that are chosen to be ignored, because they aren't liked.

  • People! Allah has provided a great reward for his servants in paradise, you will have all what your souls desire and when you convert you will become sinless like a baby. Dont let the devil deceive you by the love of this world. Know that the great disasters are a test from Allah. Also know that ALLAH's wrath is severe, mostly to the heedless. The people lie about God to deceive and the Christians say Jesus is the Son of God. Know that our Lord is one, Our God is one, worship and serve him ONLY.

  • @ZaeemIslamSoldier Go die in a fire.

  • @ZaeemIslamSoldier You sound like every other religious fundamentalist... Everybody thinks theirs is the "right" faith, but you're all just deluded...

  • @migbee Please don't say that I am telling the truth, search miracles of Islam on uTube BUT I have heard about people like you in Qu'ran that even if God showed you his signs they would not believe. To @rem1cks why curse me for Hell only because I say worship Allah alone? This is the straight path. This is the path of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) and his son Ismail (PBUH). This is path of their son Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) who god chose for the last of the prophets.

  • @ZaeemIslamSoldier Have you ever studied any other religion or philosophy? Every religion claims to be the one true path to Heaven/nirvana/spiritual bliss. What makes you so sure that the Qu'ran is the *only* path? Sure, it is a path for some, maybe even a great path for some. But, the *only* path?

Christians also believe that Jesus and the Bible are the *only* path. What would you say to them?

  • @migbee I mean I ain't telling the truth**

Also look at Miracles of Islam on uTube. No miracles like Islams has ever happened to any other religion.

  • @ZaeemIslamSoldier Some insane Christians claim that flawless gems and gold dust miraculously appear during particularly powerful services or prayer.

If you think Islam can create miracles, you should talk to James Randi about it. He'd give you a million dollars if you can prove it's true. $1,000,000 to prove any sort of paranormal or supernatural ability or occurrence.

  • I KNOW THIS IS A BIT BLUNT but, i think i love you!

  • You tell 'em, girl! That is what I wind up thinking after every video of yours I watch, haha.

I also grew up in a cult, the Worldwide Church of God. While this has definitely influenced my outlook, it didn't make me the inquisitive, intuitive little boy I was, and that's what tells me I likely would've ended up a nonbeliever anyway. Sounds like we're two peas in the same pod!

  • I grew up in a family that believes in God, my grandma was even a sunday school teacher. I was in her class, and I'm not an atheist... I believe in God and I love him.

  • @kellyfan25 Apples and oranges.

  • OMG we are the same! i grew up with a overly religous dad. now im agnostic, and people ask me why cant i give jesus a chance, well i did but its just not for me, they dont understand that and i hate it

  • Whoa. Even if I were religious, I have to say I'd consider the Bible to be much too full of smut and violence for me to be comfortable with the idea of a child reading it at the age of three. And the pedant in me questions whether, if you're considering the book to be so fundamentally vital, it's appropriate to read it without attempting to achieve a full understanding.

  • @Stheno16 Which demonstrates why you're not religious.

  • @Stheno16 so you're not ok with little kids knowing things, even f they are violent?

  • @MrGabapovich Perhaps more to the point, the Bible tends to present violence as a moral imperative laid down by God or his prophets. Little kids are generally impressionable, and won't yet have learned the skills of critical reasoning. Read Numbers 31, and ask yourself whether this is a good combination.

  • could you listert to pop music, watch tv e.g the simpsons or go skateing at a place where have pop culture???

  • @longtail4711 hhaha well thats you hunny :) I don't believe I asked but thanks for the theory. And my previous comments, go for you also then. :)

  • It's always the same. Some well-meaning Christian comes along and insists we must not have REALLY known God, we must have been to the WRONG church or had the WRONG upbringing. But if we just gave it a CHANCE now, we'd SURELY find the light, love, and joy in the Lord Jesus Christ. Oh yeah, it's about RELAYSHUNSHIP and not religion.

  • @longtail4711 Cont. I'm going to say this to all Christians: WE. DO. NOT. WANT. TO. BE. LIKE. YOU. You are not exhibiting traits we want to emulate. You can NOT tell Angie or any of the rest of us Ex-Christian atheists what we do or do not understand about God. It's INSULTING and a moronic statement because you can't possibly know anything about what we have felt or thought about God. I know it's hard for you to believe but we do not WANT what you have. So don't preach to us. It's annoying.

  • In my opinion, most atheists know more about the bible than the average christian.

I went to a christian private school myself...

  • @davidthmovies Sounds more like experience than mere opinion. :-D

  • @davidthmovies there are quite a few studies that support your opinion.

  • @davidthmovies yes, most christians can quote scripture but could never tell you the context of the verses they quote.

  • @davidthmovies I did too. I was a Christian for twelve years.

Then I started to think. And think. And think.

    I started to doubt.

And suddenly, I'm going to hell and it all spirals downhill from there.

  • @soulmacia I agree. But now that she does, she should give it a chance. and be open to it. since no one is pushing her now.

  • Comment removed

  • "Bite" this...you would be well explained in one of the examples that Jesus was attested to have given in the parable of the sower.

"...these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the LUSTS of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

  • It's about YOUR PERSONAL relationship with God. Not all that other stuff that makes no fucking sense, that you just said. so yes, if you had a good, stable relationship with God, I garante you would NOT be an athiest right now. :)

  • @1225loveful her point is she never had that chance since her upbringing kinda ruined it for her.

  • @1225loveful Funny, I had a good, stable relationship with God and the church when I stopped believing. There goes that theory.

  • @longtail4711 Why did you stop believing?

  • @JoeWantsCake I did a lot of Bible study and read the book cover to cover. I found a lot of stuff in there that was really pretty awful and I just couldn't abide by it. I also found a lot of inconsistencies and divergence from what it actually said, and what I had been taught to believe. Eventually, I started looking around the world and the things that went on it it, and I realized that nobody was listening. This universe just could not have been designed by a being with any sort of agenda.

  • @longtail4711

    I think I love you.

  • @AllyssSings Dawww, thanks! I love you too. :)

  • @longtail4711 Indeed! It's quite the trip, isn't it, to realize after years of being mislead how utterly ridiculous is the idea that the universe was created just for us, rather than we evolving and adapting to existing conditions in order to live? Upon that realization, you see just how much such absurdity requires brainwashing to exist.

  • @1225loveful It's kind of hard to have a relationship with someone who is not in contact with you, wrote a book threatening you, and decided they are ruler over you since your birth. Sorry but most intelligent human beings aren't into those Kinky sadomasochistic slave-abuse type relationships.

  • Favourite part of this video:

    Bite Me!

Well I'm up for that kinky sort of shit if you are ;)

  • Church doesn't really matter,it's about your relationship with God & it's ALL about your heart.

  • I personally do not believe the right church, or anything else can change your opinion but god himself. I don't need to believe in god, because i know he's there. Delusional? I've had my doubts and experiences. I also, unlike other christians don't feel i should waste my time convincing others he's there. I pray for you( not a pity, just a prayer[= ) and one day i believe you will revert to christianity again. About the christian home thing.. went through it too, i feel ya (;

  • you mam are great. we have the same come at me bro attitude. when a person tells me i'm going to hell i consider it a win because they have stooped to using threats.

  • You must be incredibly intelligent to be raised in an environment like that and still come out an atheist. Congratulations.

  • I'd like to bite her.

  • The more you know about religion, the less believable it is. Keep it up, but dont get your hopes up thinking you'll change people. You can only plant a seed of doubt in the more self-aware ones.

  • The sight of hell torments will exalt the happiness of the saints forever. Can the believing father in Heaven be happy with his unbelieving children in Hell. I tell you, yea! Such will be his sense of justice that it will increase rather than diminish his bliss. - Jon Edwards

  • @supportisrael35 jeeze, how did he become a democratic candidate. thats disgusting

  • I dont think you were not wanting to be a believer.I think you may have come across some hypocrites that put you in the wrong direction.

  • I was curious. I do not mean any disrespect, but those dots you have, one above the eye and the other below. Did you have those before you were part of the cult? or did you put those in yourself?

  • no but id really like to fuck your face with my cock.

  • OMFG you were a vampire?

  • May I fuck you?

  • "What is growing up in a cult like?". I dont know... Maybe herpes?. jking.

  • May I ask you a few questions? Do you think your beliefs presently are impacted by your experiences in the past? And if you think so, in what ways? I know my current beliefs are based on my personal studies that were the result of dissatisfaction with the religious beliefs of my childhood. I'm interested in learning more about your experiences. Thanks.

  • Obviously had a bad relationship with the father...leading cause of Atheism

  • @FactualAnonymity How was causation demonstrated?

  • @johnrcoben the channel being created to express her left hand path

  • @FactualAnonymity No, I'm asking you how a bad relationship with the father causes atheism.

  • @johnrcoben Sorry....Due to the fact that ,from the child's eyes, the father figure is a “flop” evil or not attentive, psychologically makes the child subconsciously hate father figures God being the ultimate Father figure.

  • @FactualAnonymity She doesn't seem to hate anyone. Has there been an actual study on this?

  • @johnrcoben every atheist who has a biography that I looked into and referenced their father there was something off with their child hood google it.

  • @FactualAnonymity That is just silly. What if having a bad father makes people seek one in God?

  • @johnrcoben hahahahah rotflmwao shhhhheeeeeoooowwww!!!!!
