It takes weeks, even months to put a song together, and someone can sit down to their keyboard and tell you they don't like it and what you can do to change it in just a few seconds. The truth is, that behind every comment lies a human being, and we need to remember to be kind. If the wrong comment comes out, it may convince a wonderful performer to discontinue their journey. Nice job ladies, and keep up the good work.
I actually also think that you girls need to focus your sound and find out where to place it because it seems to come from your speaking voice sometimes. Also, the vowel shapes also help you blend better since you aren't all singing it the same way and a different "sound of the word" will be produced. Just some more pointers I had in mind (:
You ladies have great pitch, it's just that when you sing and don't open your mouth North to South rather than East to West, your notes sound flat when they really aren't. I also agree that you need more facial expressions though I thought your speed was quite alright (as I have not heard this song before) but decent job overall. (:

Even though there were some tempo and intonation issues towards the end of the song, your voices are so fresh, joyful and blend really nicely. I can't believe that being so young you could have such a unique style. With the right guidance, a bright future awaits you all... just keep working hard and don't let anyone discourage you!
I am also part of a barbershop chorus and a quartet. You have to know your music before you get out there to sing it. I am a tenor and i love this song. The tenor in this performance was very weak which is why half way through the song it started going downhill. I am only a sophmore in highschool so i'm not critisizing. Considering the circomstances they did ok :).
@ bbstenor419 - While your comments may be correct please keep in mind these are just KIDS! They're still learning and developing and overall they did a GREAT job! Personally I think they had it at just the right tempo... I guess that's just a matter of preference. And I think they will learn to develop more "stage presence" and animation the more they perform on stage. It's a work in progress and I see great things ahead for these young ladies! :) KUDOS GIRLS!!! Keep up the good work!

@bbstenor419 Bah..facial expressions. It did sounds a bit to fast too..but knowing middle school, they might have been embarrassed. They did do a fantastic job keeping with it. But don't think I'm prejudiced when I say that girls vocal chords are usually not the best for quartet, but they did a wonderful job with what they had, and they had quite a bit!
