  • not all..you played some preset seq's.

  • @009relic1 yes, at 6:10.

  • My God , at 9.34 i have shivers and goose bumps, can you PM the " recipe " of this patch pleaaseee!!!

  • can you upload your wavestables on the mek? don't know if it has already been asked!

  • @darkfaerytales no, you can't.

  • how are the encoders holding up?

  • @009relic1 hmm. sometimes it looks like some of them are alive, but most of time and most of them are ok.

  • is the Poly version much different as far as capabilities? i like your programming. Really creative. Thinking of getting one but the Poly is so much more than the mono version which is what you have right?

  • @rhampton1914 same sound but four times more.

  • nice sounding instr. Jexus is cooking a MEK surprice*... stay tuned! o:E

  • Can the MEK and the Evolver Desktop be chained for 2 voice polyphony? If so, how do they sync? Could I for instance program the same patch on both units using only the knobs on the MEK, or do I have to program each unit individually?

  • @FriSatSunRepeat yes, there are special midi-chain-outputs with full sync.

  • What are the settings on 9:40 in your video?

  • @janxenjanxen very simple sound with some resonance and tuned feedback. tuning of the feedback creates the polyphony. ah, and output hack was there, afair.

  • @veellmusic I actually mean, which sound-number in which bank?

  • @janxenjanxen my own sound in my own bank, man.

  • DS is one of those who has the coolest sounds in their synths

  • Yep just won it! I am so thrilled, thanks to you for this clip!!!! It's mind bending...

  • yep this is the clip that made my mind up about gettin one of these. I like the fact that you play around with the sounds rather than just show a wanky keyboard solo. The sounds are outta this world. I'm hopefully securing one over ebay in 5 hours....cheers! Dave Smith rules!

  • REALLY EPIC SHIT tumbsup!

  • @narudh damn, the definition of epic gets downgraded by the day...

  • @mrpumpum2010 ok lol

  • @mrpumpum2010

    nice alien hand

  • mann, i must get one of these. On EBAY right now

  • this is officially the first non-shitty demo of an evolver. thank you very kindly!

  • You should play some drum n bass beats while improvising with your MEK.

  • Wow, awesome demonstration! You really know how to make this thing howl and weep, I quickly forgot that it's monophonic.

You should search: Jexus Nord Lead 3

    Amazing sounds

  • Hi Great sounds ,,wonderin bout some digital/analog sounds to go with my Pro08...

  • FYI, this video made me buy one, haha!

  • @Wiktorion One day I've bought korg Z1 after watching a video from @jexus at youtube. =))

  • @leerique ...I'd like to know what you think of the Z1, actually... Jexus sure makes it look awesome. :)

  • @jriceblue Z1 is good. but has very slow and wearisome interface. what about sound? ok, you can modulate everything by everything. but... whatever you do - you always can say: i've already heard it in previous patch. if you create something very complex - it will be unmusical and may be muddy. if you'll hold on musicality - the sound will be stupid. there is cool arpeggiator. but it's buggy: it works properly only with the internal clock.

  • @jriceblue so... Z1 is good for fx or something like this. but even in that way - evolver is my choice. it's analog, it has lots of knobs, more modulation capabilities, more clear and juicy sound. i just can't imagine what can give me the poly evolver. =)

  • @leerique Thanks much; that sounds about what I expected to hear. ...Sounds to me like the Z1 might be a bit like Absynth in that way. CRAZY powerful modulation... but somehow every sound makes me say, "hhmmn, it's Absynth." :)

  • @leerique Jaxus made buy Alesis Ion, Nord Lead 1, Yama AN1x and much more. I'm so easily influenced!

  • Well done!

    Best,

    S.C.

  • Excellent! I have the desktop model, but the keyboard version is much more fun!

  • Very nice demo! One of the better demos of the Evolver on youtube I must say, both playing and sounds. Thanks for that! :-)

Nice to hear new and home brewed presets instead of the usual standard presets. I did recognize one of the presets (6:09-6:37) though as sounding very much like a standard MEK preset.

PS: Here is another very good Evolver demo:

  • Excellent demo. Thanks!

  • One of the best Evolver demo out there, Thanks I enjoyed that.
