hey Oskar, when you invent a puzzle, can you solve it as well? as in, do you create algorithms and stuff to solve them? cause that would be a really hard job!
Oskar, You are my inspiration to try to be one of the best cubers, not for fastest but the puzzles my ability alows me to solve i can solve cubes up to the pentaminx
I would love if you replied to this comment or give it a thumbs up, not youtubers or viewers, but you oskar :)
@antijelly Shapeways delivers only the 3D-printed parts. You'll need M3x10 bolts and stickers in addition. If you order from me, I'll do the assembly and stickering. Send me a PM for more info.
Can you explain a little more as to how you "fudged it" because I am having trouble understanding how the pieces fit so well when it shouldn't be possible to turn it that way. Wouldn't the angles on the corners and edges be fit solely for a hexagon and not for a pentagon?
@DanSarnelli Fudging essentially means removing some material and increase a gap, such that an illegal move become possible. Check out my Illegal Cube, which is even more fudged.
I was wondering if you really make money with your puzzles?
Because I once read in a comment of you that mostle collectors buy your puzzles but I've now looked at Shapeways and I saw the 17x17x17 and it costes up to 4,000 euros!!!!!!
Does anyone even buy that??
And plz make your puzzles less expensive because I wanna buy them like the poloslide and pologears but I dont wanna pay 63 euros...
@GiaIsTheBest No, my prototypes cost more than what I earn from selling 3D-printed samples. Yes, there are people that buy my 3D-printed puzzles. I can offer you a lower price only if you can commit to buying e.g. 5 or 10 samples at the same time.
thats really cool! You can make some really cool puzzles that are "fudged" but I don't really understand how they are still stable with all the gaps. Is it possible to make a higher order fudged puzzle?
