I got an Econ Degree along with Business Management degree in the 70's. The lifelong study of Economics has helped me better understand the role of money in our society. When I've had a LOT of Money I tended to give most of surplus to charity and very little to "luxuries". Money, in and of itself is not bad, quite the contrary actually. Having money tests your values better than almost anything else. "Passing" that test felt quite good. I've been Rich and I've been Poor; RICH is Better!
