  • I find this so hard to play. I have been practicing for weeks and can't play it like you. X

  • excellent and dreamy, when someone like you has a great impromptu touch, it is all about how YOU want to play it, others may just like someone else's version,, no one knows how chopin actually wanted it to be played note for note, have you seen the impromptu movie with george sands under chopins piano?

  • @JazzKeyboardist1 Thank you. I didn't seen this movie but I will definietly see it!

  • You played it well but for pieces like this. It is more about the emotion to get the sound. You have to play the emotion of the song. This is why a lot of people will struggle on getting the sound right on these songs. Due to them being played through the emotion that the composer felt while writing it. But good job none the less.

  • @MasterofWoWclasses I think that problem is in recording - it was taken in small class room and that make it sounds very aggressive (I never play aggressive and I love to play Chopin because of so many emotions in his music. Thank you for your comment. I will post new recording :)

  • Félicitation, Auguri, Congratulations

    Bien musicalement

  • there are some mistakes and too much power .., i think it s a digital piano how it sounds !! :o

  • I am no piano expert. This is overall pretty good. But I think that the fact that the whole piece is played aggressively takes something away from certain parts. For instance the final part (3:40 to 4:30), which is for me the best part of this piece and the one I am always eagerly waiting for when listening at it, does not differentiate so distinctively from the rest, as it does when played from e.g. Rubinstein.

  • you should probably play it a bit softer and slower :)

  • I are robot! "Thank you"

  • I are robot! "Thank you"

  • Your tempo and pace were perfect! I hate it when people play this too fast.. You really felt the music <3

  • @fetiler thank you

  • @morgane06510 thank you

  • very nice!!

  • @outdoorrat thank you

  • I love your rendition of this piece, wonderful phrasing.

  • @bbobading thank you :)

  • have you ever tried to play it with Chopin's pedal marks? It's quite interesting!

  • @MsKendoro I don't think it will be good idea, I don't have piano from his times, it sounded very different from pianos of your times...

  • Im not always a strict conservatist on how a piece *should* sound like after the original conception for a reason, in the long run when you heard the same piece dozens or hundreds of times i really prefer some modest changes in tempo or personal interpretations. As long as the passion or heart is in the performence, im all ears. And i really i enjoyed this rendition, thanks alot for the upload. :)

  • You might want to work on your touch, you play it very aggressively, and it's supposed to be a lullaby (nocturne = nighttime/sleeping song = lullaby), I do like the slower tempo than most versions on youtube and not too dramatic tempo changes.

  • @Subject134127 thank you for your comment, I will have to record it again - I have good touch but probobly because of the way it was recorded it sounds really aggressive.

  • Why am I trying to learn this on the guitar? Sounds better on piano

  • @ciaobebbo050 that's because it's written exclusively for the piano.. for guitar, try Hallelujah?

    meh.. I play both :)

  • @samyoe Ok thanks...I'll give it a try. Keep it up, you sound great! I like the tempo

  • @samyoe I've decided to upload my version of it on the guitar...it's very far from being perfect, but here it is /watch?v=PB6kfiDGe4k

  • Best i've heard so far. If your open to suggestions, I love the way Matt Bellamy plays it at the end of the song United States Of Eurasia (+ Collateral Damage ) if you listen to that, Thats my favorite version. The different tempo and all. But this is very very beautiful.

  • how can the piano play itself? FAKE!

    ;DD

  • do you know about recording music on CD ???? I explain you - you can hear music but you dont see person that playing it...

  • my dear didn't you see the ';DD' at the end? it was a joke. i'm not that stupid xD

  • oki sometimes people really think so...

    sorry for missunderstand :)

  • @kreisikatrin Duh! It's a player piano!!! ...or the ghost of Liberace. :)

  • you play it very beautiful as you....

  • if you're a boy then that means ahhhhh...some1 <3 's some1! If you're a girl then nvm

  • Nice and relaxing. :-)

One of my favorite Chopin pieces.

  • zamknij oczy i posłuchaj...

  • Nice, i prefer when i see you playing, so i can learn from your hands and your standing, i'm a beginner. Thanks

  • Bello!!!!!! Interpretalo però un po' di più... si sente troppo il tempo degli acordi.

    Ciao grande!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Very nice. I played the Nocturne in Bmajor Op32. No1 for my 8th Grade exam here in Australia. From what I've studied and understand of Chopin this is a lovely rendition and appropriate interpretation.
