  • No motor? All pedalling?! My goodness, you two are flying along...seemingly almost effortlessly. I wonder what the difference is between my trike, (Catrike 700 with Windwrap GX), and an all-out velomobile, in terms of average speed.

    Any thoughts?

  • The 700 is a nice trike. I haven't made a direct comparison, but if you have an idea of your speed relative to a traditional TT or road bike then the speed calculator on the "UPDATES" page of our website will give you an idea of the impact of the aerodynamic advantage of the Quest velomobile. It is significant (and a lot of fun!).

  • Just got back from the calulator: From 16+mph on my old sopwith camel to 23 mph on the Quest?! Now I'm really drooling!! : P
