Great job! I need to get FL Studio. The overall modulation sounds wonderful! Have you heard my most recent chiptune? Your kick effect sounds pro, are you just using the pitch envelope? Or YmVst?
Thanks man. I had a listen to your chiptune (if I got the right one, hehe) and it sounded all okay. It sounded a little as if there was something missing though. Try the plugins I've linked in my other chips and especially the magical8bit. With it you can make a negative square sweep that works as a kick. That's what I do. Then I add an effect that comes along with FL studio called "Bass Boost". Really does the trick, if you know what I mean. ;)
Many thanks! I will give your plug in a try. I normally just track with a normal saw and square wave. You should try 38911 Bytes would really make your sliders and arpeggios sound better. I just use 2 square wave(De-tuned of course) for the proper SID sound. Which CPU are you using while emulating? I'm not to worried about my master rig, since I have an Athlon II. AMD really handles the stress, and I can run any tracker at 5%.
Yeah, FL studio is probably the easiest tracker you can find for making tunes like these. All in all it's very easy since it's based on visuals as much as it is.
It's got Piano Roll table, VSTi compatibility and loads of generators already included in the program.
Claustrophobia -> Battle of Illusions -> Aquaticum & nao here. I wunna hear moar of your work in dark ambience/industrial. (all above = *5) Sincerely, ZeNebula (nebulae rock.)
Yeah. Plus, it's freeware that's completly fan-made. You can look up links to the software from my other chiptunes if you're interested in downloading them.
