IM NOT KNOCKING THE bible but i know that the Native american spirituality is more peaceful and makes you one with mother earth and mother nature. I grew up in the Church here in S.Texas and I always was told Quana Parker was cured of a stomach disorder with medicine Not of a battle wound and he was taught peyote in Mexico not Texas.I notice it was a woman who called Natives "them" who said that.I have never heard of medicine killing anyone but I will not argue that with an elder.

Yea, Im one of the crazy white men lol. However my grandfather on my mothers side is full blood Cherokee, and I love listening to him speak. Mushrooms arent plants.. They are a cross between animals and plants in a way.
If people wants to avaoid the nausea part use a San Pedro or Peruvianus instead.
Those two are also more gentle to trip on. Much more of a pure love feeling then peyote imo.

N.A.C. some of tribes who adopted it don't believe in the Christian ways. I was told that all creation story's are true. That all the ways are true. But peyote meetings or Native American Church is a way to pray to the creator. Not all native american church members are christian. Like me I don't I'm a traditional person and believe in this way. This is just so stupid. Who is the Government to say who uses it for religious purposes or not??? I'm not Native American, but I am Mexican. Mexicans used it for religious purposes, why aren't we allowed to use it legally?? I'm not saying that you have to be Native American or Mexican to use it. I think anyone has the right to use it. It's here on this earth isn't it? However it's because of the stupid people that it's illegal. Those who don't know what they are doing in the first place.

Well, I don't think it mentions sacred mushrooms, specifically in those terms, but it the properties used to describe manna in exodus sound rather fungus like. Some suggest it was the desert truffle Mycologists haven't discovered any hallucinogenic fungi in the red sea region, but it doesn't mean it isn't there or hasn't been there in the past.
