Dude, I use all major OSes (XP, OS X, and Ubuntu) and I honestly prefer OS X. It can be just as complicated as XP/Linux (not always a good thing) and it can be drop-dead-simple (also not always a good thing). I think Microsoft, Apple, and the OSS (open source software) crowd are all pushing the computer industry in new and exciting directions.

my advice is,running win 98 on MAC can be good or vice versa..but as long you update windows and files that necessary to run High Definition program,it may work..But most Softwares,Drivers,Gadgets and any computing stuffs registered last on 2004,cannot be installed on windows 98(not all)..Win 98 has good reputation on PC,but with MAC,i dont thing so..Since iMovie is a HD movie editing tool from Apple's MAC,it is good u continue with MAC OS.

omg, IE on my new vista is the crappiest thing ever. Of course when I first bought the computer, I started using fire fox right away, and it wasn't until a month later that I tried the new IE.
