Two of my favorite programmes... thanks for combining them. II think given the lyric, a shot of the guy who dies on the Moon early on would have been apropos... also the guy who invented the "astro drum" space suit and then got locked up. You can't take the sky from that kind of character!
Nono, a lunarian (born on the moon) is confronted by Hakim, a failed revolutionary considering killing himself and her. He mutters that space has been taken over by a select few powerful countries, which leaves Nono confused. She learned about countries; how the earth was divided up into them; but it is a simple abstract term for her. Asked if he could show her his country, he looks up at earth, but he can't see it. It is just a planet. There are no countries in space.
The series was presented as a laid-back tale of trash collectors in space, but was actually a political masterpiece with a critical analysis of industrialism, nationalism, and elitism.
Yea,I think the crew of Serenity and the crew of the ToyBox would get along just fine, well Tanabe would probley have something to say about Mal and his crew chosen line of work but other then that they've have some fun.
Amazing I think I just had a nerdgasm

It fits. Both series are less about lasers and blinking lights but different people and stories.

Yeah, I remember when I first saw this anime thinking how the crew of Toybox was a bit like the crew of Serenity. Great job on the editing.

This AMV is more brilliant than you might think.
