Robert McChesney has never been affiliated with the group Media Matters For America, which was originally called Media Matters when it was established in 2004, 2 YEARS AFTER McChesney had begun hosting a radio program by the same name.
The group and the show have no relation, and the group actually changed it's name to Media Matters For America to avoid confusion between the two.
You should try doing a bit of research before attempting to smear someone whom you clearly know nothing about.
what if we all stpped buying newspapers? would taxes go up to make up the shortfall in the industry's economic influence? I think we all know on some level that the media is biassed/prejudiced, we do have a say, but I think(as said in this vid') the problem stems from the corporations Who are the roots of the tree, that is where we can focus in order to kill the rot, like any unwanted weed/ilness. Otherwise we' re likely to be led down a branch of the tree which is still subject to the disease.
It is very dissapointing that only 2000 people have seen this important video. Millions of people watch mindless celeberty entertainment and watch network news and think they are being truely informed. They will never know they are not truely informed if only 2000 people see this video. Please email this video to your friends and family. Although Media Matters may be funded by questionable sources, as the two commenters have stated, I do think McChesney has good intentions.
There's quite a bit of extra interview footage w/McChesney on the Orwell Rolls...dvd. He's a highly informed source re M$M, and how it plays such a substantial role in destroying our democracy.
Interesting concept, the Wealth Vote. So does that reveal the reasoning for why Obama chose to change his mind regard campaign funding during the election? Interesting.
@wildnites558 The statement quoted is correct, why do you contest it? The network media is a tool owned and operated by private interest for the benefit of private interest, this truth should be self evident.
This was interesting, but please answer: Who funds MediaMatters???
And how much money does MediaMatters have at its disposal???
Re Saul Alinsky: He's not everyone's "hero". Not to those who DO NOT admire Lucifer as being the "first radical". Not to those who abhor bully-tactics. Not to those who do NOT believe "the ends justify any means".
Ann Coulter is a tool, but worse are the people that listen to a word out of that right wing prostitutes mouth.

If I could make every person in America watch one video, it would be this.

Who would rate this video down? How could anyone think a misinformed uneducated society is good for anything but a slave nation?

"....not simply pouring money back into the pockets of billionaires."
Nice try McChesney. And who funds the leftwing MediaMaters??? ***BILLIONAIRE GEORGE SOROS***** THAT'S WHO!
Like Ann Coulter always says, 'Liberals always accuse Conservatives of the very thing they themselves are guilty of'.
