  • Steak Diane, with a little help from Gordon Ramsay...DONE!

  • if only cooking was really that fast

  • *drool*

    that is all

  • All I can aspire to is to complete my steak Diane in one minute and three seconds just like Gordon ;-)

  • Is the brandy necessary?

  • Steak Diane with soda potatoes... Done. Lmao

  • Hey I know it's ages since you asked but he doesn't use cream for the mushrooms, he simply adds single cream to the mix after the Worcester sauce and dijon mustard are added and cooked in for a minute, when the cream is added the sauce will be very watery so you need to have the heat up high and allow it all to thicken up into a sauce for about another minute.

  • you make it so easy

  • i just did this yesterday and it is delicious! i used white wine instead of brandy, but i'll try it with brandy sometime!

  • Looks like double cream with ~30% fat

  • I tried this one today for the first time, and I've got to tell you: it was fucking delicious! It's really that quick and simple as in the film. I was a bit reluctant at first to cut away the fat of the entrecôte (because that gives the meat it's great taste), but with the addition of cream it just turned out right. My 8 year old daughter really relished the flambée moment: "look ma, daddy's setting fire to the kitchen!." @ Gordon: thanks again for another great recipe and tons of inspiration!!!

  • Tried it and loved it! - Gonna make that soon again! =]

  • My family tried this recipe before. It was so delicious and so easy to follow. The only downside what that my dad nearly set himself on fire during the flambe process.

  • It's astounding to see how many people screw this up.

  • Yes, good, but try and replicate it. No novice can.

  • DAAAAAMN that looks amazing.

  • 4 x small sirloin steaks, approx 7 oz. 3 shallots, peeled 4 ounces crimini mushrooms, cleaned (if crimini unavailable use button mushrooms instead) 1 tablespoon salted butter 1 garlic clove, peeled 1 -2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, to taste 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1/3 cup brandy or cognac 1 cup heavy cream Small handful of flat-leaf parsley
  • Can I not use Brandy in this recipe? Or is there a substitute?

  • I think that's double cream.

  • thumb up, who press replay button

  • hey ! do you have olive oil stocks

good olive oil -> hot pan -> bad olive oil

  • oh god i will make this one ,delicious

  • My head is spinning...these vids are soo fast !

  • Whipping Cream, also called Heavy Cream.

  • please on potatoes ''ROSE MEAT'' what is that spice ?? Thanks

  • @DoTaSoOo

I believe it is heavy cream, but I believe you can use "lighter" versions as well

  • The best meal ever.

  • wai im supose to remove the wat from the steak lol

  • I wish these weren't so fast, it makes it harder to follow and learn from. This guy condensed a good 45 mins of cooking into one minute and three seconds!!

  • the flambé part scares me

  • Just did this and it's better than sex!

  • Marry me . Please

  • i wish i had the whole recipe

  • this guy is so fast and effecient at the same time ...... i need to keep reminding myself he is the best chef in the world

  • I will try this later but I will not use cognac or any alcohol. whish me luck. lol

  • This is the most easier recipe ever made wow what's so hard!!!

  • God I'm hungry now. That looked amazing!!

  • It aint really a hard recipy. The timing of your steaks are key though.

  • Is this in any of Ramsay's cookbooks?

  • can someone tell me what kind of creme he use for the mushrooms pls

  • I really like your film!

  • He made it look so quick & easy, gotta try this recipe soon. Making me hungry

  • This is excellent and we're having it tonight.
