This 'song' truely demonstrates Jimi's untouchable and unique genius. More than 4,5 minutes consisting of basically one guitar sole connected together with a constant improvisation full of unearthly emotion, soul and energy. Nothing compares to this and I doubt anything ever will.

A truly amazing performance. Hendrix starts with a tasteful theme statement and gradually builds heat. From 2:00 to 2:40 it gets feverish, launching into the chord-change section at 2:45. After a 4-bar drum fill at 3:00, Hendrix and Mitchell feed off each other. Blazing drum lick at 3:12. Note the "3rd Stone from the Sun" quote at 4:02! Thanks, Peter
