@wctje777 cross-hairs are very common in FPS and they are an indication of an area inside of them where a bullet will hit when you shoot your gun. Or in Laments terms they place where your bullet will go when you shoot.

Last time i played this game (which was 2 months + ago) you were able to aim. It wasn't good and no one used it because it was like the aiming on the N64 version.

@unrealorzable Seeing as you are using a mouse, aiming should be 100x better. The crosshair is shift by default. I change mine to right click. The great thing about this game, it that I have learnt to freeaim. No marker on my screen. Nothing. So when I go back to CS:S and they wonder how I no scoped with the scout, that's how :P
