@isaacteague.....I got it at the gas station. Drank the Redbull, cut the ends off, cut a slit down the back of the can and used one chrome hose clamp to clamp it around the reservoir. Pretty simple, looks better than the stock cast look, and cost about $2.50
@BemidjiBoarder ,,,,ummmm, if thats a serious question, then there is no answer. If you know it's an item to make a fun conversation, then Red-Bull gives you wiiinngggsss!!!! (and horsepower) lol
@Kokamo44 haha thats what i thought, but i thought you guys were being serious. and i was like wow, thats kinda stupid. lol, anywho, very nice bike! i got a 95 f3 and i love it.
@BemidjiBoarder ...ya, it's for the simple minded people. Kinda like the 16 year old kid with a ricer car that puts on a fart pipe and claims a 40hp increase....pfff....silly ricers. lol. By the way, this bike has been sold and has gone to a friend. He has since painted it burnt orange like the Texas Longhorns....and it looks KILLER!!!
@Kokamo44 on mine you have to undo both rear side panels and undo two bolts to get the seat off ??? i only just got it though and desperate to ride it haha
Jack, I think you are right. I have since sold this bike, but I remember having to clean the carbs and when I did that, I remembered the side panels have to come off before the seat does. Good luck with your new bike and be careful!
Is so a good beginner bike, I went from a Suzuki Sv650 to the F3 and I have to say I LOVE IT! Handles nice, a bit chunkier than the brand new machines but still rips it up on the 405 freeway during rush hour.
at 5'3 yea you probably would have to. Dont let that stop ya :) Apparently they are quite tame bikes... considering getting one myself. (and im a beginner too)
i wouldn't call it tame :p, but it's a nice first choice if you're a mature driver. i wouldn't know tho, i got mine cbr 600 -97 crashed, mostly my fault.. got the cbr 600 FS- 01 now tho.
depends what cind of a rider you are, i got one as my first real bike over 125cc, and i loved it. topps around 260km/h and the acceleration is real nice. but again, it's all about you.
nice bike man but i was reading your discription and the red bull can adds way more horse power than 25 i think its about 40-45 bhp..but that a great bike anyways! haha
hey man nice bike...i saw one exactly like this..its a 1997 honda 600 f3 with the same colors...it has a dnd pipe on it...how is the bike? i'm getting a good deal for $1900 maybe less... just want to get a response from an actual owner...the color scheme looks awesome too...i haven't seen the bike in person hopefully i will in a few days...have you had any problems with the bike? thanks and awesome bike man...
Yeah man, thanks. The bike is an awesome bike. Honestly, I haven't been able to take it to it's limits.....I don't ride fast or get into the twisties with it....I guess cause I baby it too much. As far as problems, I have ad ZERO. It's got a tad over 13K miles and runs flawlessly. Oh yea, 1900 bucks seems to be a decent price depending on mileage and condition. I gave 4K for this one when it had 10K about a year ago. No mods, bone stock, no drops and absolutely no problems. Good luck bro!

Jahofnietdan2 11 months ago

I also heard that it adds 12 inches of travel to the swingarm, turning this street bike into a full blown baja destroyer.
