I can't understand why he hates green so much. Green & cream go very well together I say that as a graphics designer, artist, stylist & having seen it work at weddings. Green can & does work with care.
Yellow-Greens go with cream & Blue-Greens go with white. Couple them with chocolate & coffee browns & you get a classy elegant atmosphere.
Dark greens tend to work better than light greens, light greens tend to come across as tacky and somehow plastic / fake / garish / unappealing.

LOL "Where the hell did you get this" LOL she can have a green wedding. Those can be very elegant if you do them correctly. Green and white maybe with a touch of black for accent. Very sleek.
