King David once pranced around in the streets of Jerusalem buck naked praising God. Was he under the spell of a demonic spirit? People who come up with videos like this need to suck it up and get a life. People like you need some music to unwind to.
it has nothing to do with rock or ''devily music '' as you crazy jesus freaks want to call it . you dead stiffs in the flesh need to lighten up...i too when ever playing live go some where else in my mind body and soul i don't expect for you close minded stone aged antiquated linear thinking 5000 year old dead jew loving fanatics to understand. but trust that which seizes your body has nothing to do with any evil entity...rather the music or you're love for it consumes you making you both as one
While playing Worship music in my church, I have felt something called "an anointing of the Holy Spirit." it is where there is a rush of adrenaline flowing through the band and congregation. We will move about at times and it's considered perfectly normal. Get an afterlife!
What just happened? I was about to have a chuckle until I re-read the word 'exposed'. How dare you even go there. Dirty little bastards. I'm also a witness. A witness to the sickening ways of the self righteous. I now consider myself exposed...to insanity wrapped in god's clothing. Go, Joe.
Now, bring on the self-righteous. I'm ready for ya's...
The poster of this video exposed. If he's not in it for the money, then he's an egotistical creep who is a nobody and always will be a nobody forever and ever. Amen!
I just saw Cocker perform a couple of years ago. didn't play any "gospel" tunes, just a mind-boggling string of classics that had me reeling & gyrating just like him. Some people just can't process a bit of strange. Too bad, 'cause it makes the world go 'round: Long live Cocker Power !!!!
I've listened to Joe for 50 years, been to countless concerts. His movements are entirely natural. Cocker fans understand it completely. The music is at the height of expression and emotion, the body is completely in tune. This aint chirpy chirpy cheep cheep.
It was John Belushi that did that great impersonation. Belushi was doing this fantastic Joe Cocker then Joe himself came onstage and they sang, twitched and gyrated alongside each other. It was one of the great moments of Saturday Night Live.
P.S. I remember thinking that Belushi did a better Joe Cocker that Joe did.
"something seizes control of his body". No sh*t. lol. I use to love the SNL skit's on him ... don't remember who did it. I thought they were exaggerated until I seen him in concert. Believe he just turned 70 years old.
About the out of context inference that he's demonically possessed. LOL. What a crock ... make a good B horror flick though.
btw: he is a professed Christian and sings gospel tunes. Google it.
You need to do more than 'claim' that, you need to define Satanism, how people who take LSD then perform the rites of Satanism, as compared to people who don't, and explain with a little more depth why this would happen from the taking of a drug. That's not a slam but a helpful suggestion.
This is very true. It is the ancient demon Pzuzu. An old priest found his statue in Iraq and matched it to a small demon head totem he had found buried. Meanwhile, Joe was living in Washington DC with his mother, an actress, and a young nanny. Joe started cursing an pissing himself and the next thing you know he was thumbing his way
Do some research on "self-induced hysteria." This is exactly the same thing that's happening when a person is "speaking in tongues." It's another common form of hypnotic trance, like sleepwalking and daydreaming. Happily it's science and physiology, not spirits and demons.
it is not the devil, dude! He is just spazzing out and epileptic fitting out...thats all.He is taken over by "the Cocker spirit"...of spazzing and sluring your speech to entertain large groups people for three decades...thats all.
Uh, I'm a "born again" also but I happen to be a musician and I also happen to be sensitive to demonic activity. The thing that "seizes" most musicians is just excitement, don't overdo it you make people stumble. Remember that many have come in the name of Jesus and bought death destruction and ruination, come to grips with love and learn how to witness effectively!
Yeah, I get the same thing. Especially when hitting certain yelling high notes, I just get this chill over my body because I am into it. I mean, if that's a demon then...I don't know what to say. I guess demons have good taste in soulful music? But I don't think that'd be the case when I am singing to God...
Imagine for a minute, your man upstairs wanted to let me know Joe Cocker was evil. This is how he's gunna tell me? I'm sure we all remember the saying "The Lord works in painfully tedious ways."
You really are such frightened little people! Hey, Freak, you just reminded me and most of the world why Christians are considered small-minded, judgmental and completely not worth listening to. You make me sick - take your "wisdom" and VANISH. You have no audience but yourselves.
Wow, and the award for the most pointless piece of nonsense I've seen this year goes to....

You are ALL absolutely as mad as the Taliban! Anyone who believes in the literal truth of 'the devil' belongs, quite clearly, in a lunatic asylum.

Stop looking so hard for the devil and look for ways to help people. Concentrate on what you stand for, not what you're against.

Joe Cocker is still kickin' ass. Put passion into this sappy Beatle song.
BTW, everybody under 30 in 1969- 197? took drugs. Joe Cocker is a 'real' performer.
