Good grief! I'm in this video. This was a segment on The Wonderful World of Disney television show. The narrator and singer is Lucie Arnaz; she's joined at the end of her number by Lyle Waggoner (!), of the Carol Burnett Show. The 2000 piece band comprises practically every high school band then in and around Orlando. (I'm one of the orange-jacketed trumpet players at 2:48.) I was also among the first to ride Space Mountain--before it officially opened. But that's for another post; no room here.

and they are just now getting to remodeling it... while every other SM has had at least one renovation to date except the original. It opens back up in the fall we shall see what kind of fanfare that will be

Its exactly the same thanks to the TTA reopen. SM has had three renovations, just nothing major like the others

Haha I remember getting on this ride over 6 times in a row at night when I went to Magic Kingdom.. it was awesome our school group was alone near Cinderella's Castle (many people went home because it rained earlier that day) and we were able to take pictures like if we were celebrities who ordered to clear the park. lol

tomorrowland opened in the magic kingdom inauguration in 1971, and being the first mountain and thrill on disney world, space mountain opened on 1975, and getting a refurbishement on 2009
