i have 14 inch high hats, 20 inch dark ride, 18 inch china, a limited edition 6 inch splash and a 12, 14 and 16 inch crashes, ALL pitch black series, they are awesome if you play live alot, thats what theremade for, there a little more priceier but definalty worhth it, i reccomend them

pitch blacks are sheet bronze and they bend and crack easily sound horrible too dont get them

get any cast bronze cymbal like zildjian's A Zildjian, A custom, K, Z, Z custom, K custom, Z3, or FX

dont get the zildjian sheet bronze cymbals like pitch black, ZHT, ZBT, or ZXT

Evans..... eh, they're alright. I got Aquarian on my kit. Vintage 1908 pearl, sounds damn good. That is when pearl made their drums the best. Certainly a great choice of cymbals however. Zildjian and paiste for me...
