be really good to see the results of all the mods you're making!. I used to have a CLD99 and replaced it with a enlightened audio design T8000 LD player. My CLD99 used to have issues with its clamp and spindle, always took forever for this LD to stop spinning. The rubber on the spindle had to be cleaned frequently.
