The tea parties had legitimate signs against government spending and yes, also painting obama as a socialist/communist.many of his policies support bigger government even though he has claimed he is for smaller government and supports government dependency. But, my point is they didnt come up as a republican,democrat or liberal or whatever...they came as americans.A much more peaceful protest than any other protest against bush.
I see very little happening to fix the long term economic problems because every little thing is getting stalled by republicans. They are obstructionists through and through. They are out to prove the government is ineffective.
What about referring Bush to a monkey ? What about booing him ? Dems are just hypocrites as well. Tea Party's were protesting the abuse of spending from our government. It was not either side, just American's sick of paying for BS that the government has no constitutional right to do. We have a right to protest just as the G20 protesters, ACORN and any other group of people. According to Pelosi, we are terrorists ? hahaha
Lee Doren of HTWW makes things up and refers to them as fact. He's what's wrong with this country. He's a divider and I hope some day he will grow a conscience.
What disturbs me about Lee Doren is that he is a sell out much the same way as Olberman &Hannity. The problem exists on both sides. People like this do not use individual thought they are just spewing their agenda, wrong or right. Whether they agree with it or not. That's the same problem in Washington.
If Obama really wanted health care reform,he would of started with single payer but he's spineless and Pelosi just wants to pass something so it looks like a win. I hate both parties.

I think the comparisons from the left were less personal, less visceral, yes we may have pointed to the 14 points of fascism, but the level of vindictiveness from the right exceeds that from the left. We wanted bush out of office, at the wishful most impeached; the right wants Obama tarred feathered and lynched pre-reconstructionist style with white robes and torches.
Also, democrats != 'the left' -- democrats didn't compare bush to Hitler. And neither did anything calling itself anything other than an opinion program.
Olbermann could compare bush to hitler -- when he in fact did act like him! such as saying his war is god-mandated. Only when the bush house did something actually hitler-like would olberman go there.
